I bought this to replace my old Black & Decker RTX. The Blacker & Decker still works great but the locking mechanism for the chuck finally strip out. I did put the RTX thru its it paces for a lot of years and served me well. From cutting drywall to sharpening lawn mower blades and polishes guns. I do have a Dremel as back up but never really cared for it much. Always seem to have a lot of vibration and to much noise. So I found this one. First I will say how impressed I was with how sturdy it seems. I plugged it in, turned it on. Turned the speed up to high and was really pleased how quiet it was and no vibration. I did put in a couple of the attachments. This is where the vibration came in. That was a quick fix. I grabbed some of the attachments from my Dremel and tried them. The vibration disappeared. The attachments for the Dremel seem to better made or balanced better. I am hoping to get the use and years out of this like I did the Black & Decker. ... show more

For the little usage I need this for it works perfect as good as my Dremel. The accessories aren't as good as Dremel however if you get them a good cost then it more than worth it. They still work well Dremel just hold ups a tiny bit longer

This was a good purchase. My older Dremel was having intermittent problems with its on/off switch. You had to flip it just right for it to turn on, so I just figured I'd replace it since it was older anyway. This was a cost-effective replacement. It feels sturdy and I love the upgrade to the keyless chuck. The flexible shaft attachment is a nice bonus. I also really like the case -- it's sturdy and the clasps work better than the ones on my Dremel case, where one had broken fairly early on and wasn't working. I wish I had moved on from my Dremel sooner instead of messing around with it and its flaky switch, especially given the low price of this package. ... show more

Nice tool kit with an ample supply of commonly used accessory bits. Package was packed well and arrived quickly. It has a nice storage case for the tool and all the accessories. Tool is very easy to handle and control while using even at higher rpm's, runs really smooth no noticeable vibration which is quite impressive at 40,000 rpm. The Flex Shaft extension is nice feature for delicate work as it makes it easier to control on work that needs that fine touch or working at angles that would otherwise be impossible. The best thing about this corded tool is it's very powerful compared to cordless type tools so no need to stop working while you wait to charge the tool up to continue your project. This was a much needed upgrade to replace my old dying Dremel and I picked a great replacement. All in all, great product at a competitive price and I'm quite happy with my purchase. edit: seller offer to refunds me the cost of the polish and I accepted. great customer service! edit: seller reached out and want to give me a full refunds. I didn't accept it as I don't think 1 small part is worth the full refunds. so great customer service! also note that end part of the wrench tool won't work for anything. you'll need your own tool to adjust the part. used 2 time and the polisher is already flying out everywhere. the diamond cutter is pretty good I guess. it works. ... show more

Overall, this is an excellent product, regardless of price, but as it happens the quality exceeds the price. The famous-brand product has nothing on this unit, and this unit is, in some ways, better (in my opinion). I took one star off, however, because they did not include replacement motor brushes with the the kit, and the seller/factory does not even offer them for sale. As you know, when the brushes wear out the product can no longer be used, unless they are replaced. I did, however, locate replacement brushes (Dremel OEM Replacement Part # 2610009829-2PK) that should work with this unit. Of course the brushes should not need to be replaced for quite a long time, as this is a new unit. When the time does come, if you don't know what you are doing, do not attempt to replace the brushes. Let someone who knows do it for you. ... show more
