Style: Driver Side (LH)
Ordered a left and right assembly to replace the aging headlight assemblies in my 1999 ML320. The Demo assemblies are physically identical to the OEM parts I pulled out so installation was easy and straightforward (many YouTube videos available to show how). However, there are some wiring issues with these. When first installed and connected, the turn signals would not work properly and fog lights/brights would not work (Note: the Depo parts came with bulbs installed for turn signal/running lights, low beams, high beams and fog lights). Upon examination and comparison with the original assemblies, I found that the wiring circuit to the fog lights and brights was reversed (ground and mains). Swapping connections fixed that problem. The turn signal/running lights connection could only be fixed by pulling the original turn signal/running lights from the replaced assemblies and swapping those into the new Depo assemblies. (The turn signal/running light connection is an integrated connector body with the wiring internal to the connector so there is no rewiring option.) Now the Depo parts worked as intended and the new bulbs are brighter and illuminate more road than before. And they look great when installed.
