Perfect fit because it is actually the exact same part Toyota used at the factory when they assembled the car except for the sticker Toyota slaps on the Denso part to make it look like Toyota made the original part. Took a lot more time getting the oil and coolant lines off the 200,000 mile stock radiator as those were really used to be there, hehehe, than the time it took to take everything out and back in. The part of draining the coolant and refill it was the time consuming part. Obviously I don't own the right tools to get the air out of the system fast so it took a bit to get all the air out of it. I called my local Toyota dealer and they wanted $495.00 before taxes for the Denso part without the Toyota sticker, lol. They were asking for $495 for this exact same part. Crazy ridiculous markup for $10 worth of metal and $5 worth plastic, but, it's a main component that's prone to failure and they know it.

I am very pleased with this radiator. I have a Gen 1, Toyota Matrix with manual transmission and replaced the original one that was leaking with this one. I am happy to say that all the bolt holes and radiator hose ports lined up correctly just like the factory one did. Only thing different is that this one has two extra connections for an automatic transmission lines which I left capped. Have driven with the new radiator almost 2000 miles since the install with zero issues. Would recommend this purchase.

Mine arrived in a HUGE box .... inside was a LARGE DENSO box ... the radiator was lying flat in the bottom of the Denso box with foam blocks loosely placed to fill the spaces. Unfortunately several fins were damaged by shifting foam and excess space. I just wonder, a beautiful radiator arrives straight from Taiwan in a heavy Denso box and they skimped on packing it ? It makes me wonder if this is a legitimate DENSO product but I am contemplating re-ordering after return.

Bought and installed this in a 2003 Pontiac vibe and fit and looked like the stock part originally installed. I installed it several months ago and it has been performing perfectly. No more leak. Be sure to replace the thermostat and radiator hoses at the same time. They are a lot easier to do when you have the radiator out and they probably need it if the radiator has gone out.

Has separate hookups for transmission fluid. Fits my 04 matrix. I proactively replaced this, fluid resivoir and fan, cooling thermostat and upper and lower radiator hoses in same job. Had original parts that were about 13 years old. No issues.

Installed on 2003 Matrix Base model with automatic transmission. Changed the thermostat as well therefore had to buy second jug of coolant because one wasn’t enough. Make sure to top of coolant after few days because trapped air won’t gets out completely at first. No need to buy from dealer, this is almost the same radiator. Also no need to buy TOYOTA coolant for $24 Zerex asian $17 does the job.
