    • Not a direct fit for 1999 camry LE 2.2 liter 4 cyl.
I bought this radiator twice. the first time the USPS damaged it in transit. so I went through the return process which was quick and easy. Based on that I bought it again from the same company. The second radiator was delivered undamaged so I proceeded with the R&R of the old radiator. Since Amazon said it fit my car I didn't bother to look it over to see if there were any differences between the old and new radiators, I just pulled the old one out and installed the new one. Everything went great, it fit right in. But wait! I couldn't get the transmission lines to hook up because the ports were at lease 2 inches away from where they were located on the old radiator and the fittings that came with the new radiator were about an inch shorter as well. I tried to swap the fittings from my old radiator and stretch the old lines but that wouldn't work so put the original fittings back on and had to go to the auto parts store to buy new transmission hose in a 3' length and cut it to fit. 3' was enough for both lines. once that was done I finished the installation and everything is good. Denso is a reputable, quality product and I'm happy with the radiator. I've been driving on it for about a month now and all is good. If you're putting it in a 1999 Camry LE 2.2 4 cylinder, just be prepared to have to make the simple modification to your trans lines. If I had known that upfront I still would have bought this radiator and the installation would have been much less time consuming and smoother. Thanks for a great product! ... show more

After shopping around I decided to go with this radiator and it was the best decision on my part in a while. It was super easy to install. What ever wasn't included I was able to reuse my existing parts. For example, Trans lines, temp sensors and cooling fans. It all bolted up with ease. I would definitely recommend this product and I know what im talking about because I am a A.S.E. master certified mechanic. . I'm out of the field currently but still hold a maintenance/service job so I know a great product when I see and own one.. I drive 184 miles round trip to work 6 days a week and can't afford to have parts that don't meet my expectations or breakdown. This radiator exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Not only did they exceed my expectations my car runs about 50° cooler then the original radiator there for my fans do not have to run as often. Thank you for making such a quality parts that didn't break the bank. I will recommend this to everyone I know and if needed to purchase another radiator I would most definitely go with this. Lasted for three years..I was hoping it will last longer as the car is not driven much..the leak is not too bad but it will eventually get worse. I'll not buy this product again.

Fits perfectly in my Camry LE 1997. Installation is simple and it actually didn't require a lot of effort (just a bit of time and patience to figure it out). Product felt and looked of good quality which gives ease of mind.

My radiator cracked on my 1999 Camry 2.2l 4cyl and I needed a new radiator. I didn't want to use a junkyard one, since I am quite sure the thing cracked from age, and obviously replacing it with a similarly old one would be dumb. So I was very happy to find this Denso brand (which I assume to be OEM?) for a reasonable price. As others have mentioned the packaging was rather lacking, and I could see how it could end up getting damaged in shipping. However mine was fine and it installed with no issues at all.     • Fits like a glove and replaces my original equipment at 165k miles
This replaced the car's previous OEM Denso radiator at 165,000 miles, which had developed a 4" crack along the top front. It fit my car's hose fittings and rubber suspension mounts perfectly and appears to be well made. It was delivered in perfect condition, well packed. I'm 100% pleased that I got this replacement from Denso and Amazon. I went ahead and replaced hoses, clamps and thermostat by Amazon too ... better prices than local stores non-Denso radiator offerings, and for a fraction of a mechanic's labor cost. During the few days while waiting for Amazon's free delivery, I was able to continue driving my car with the defective radiator by sanding lightly, "soldering" black zip-ties like welding or stitching a 4" wound, then applying a cover coat of JB-Weld 5-minute 2-part epoxy resin ... all of which took me about an hour to apply in total. I was surprised that my temporary repair held up so well and might have lasted weeks ... various videos on YouTube describe this procedure. I figure all these plastic-top/bottom aluminum radiators today are made to last maybe 120,000 miles or so, just enough to get them past extended warranties. By then it's probably becoming dirty and inefficient anyway, as mine was. It's really rather easy to replace with a new OEM part such as this. I plan to get another one of these after 100k miles are put on this new one ... a bargain price for Denso quality like this! If your car has over 120k on a plastic-topped radiator, consider replacing it now, before it eventually cracks like mine and others did. From now on I consider it a part of my scheduled post warranty maintenance. ... show more

Purchased for my son's 2001 Camry. Relatively straight forward installation after watching a few YouTube videos.Great DENSO OEM fit and less than half the cost of the genuine Toyota branded part,which is made by DENSO. If you have a couple hours and some basic tools,you're gonna save yourself a few hundred dollars by doing it yourself over a shop.Well worth it! ... show more
