My 06 TSX at 170K developed the common seepage of fluid at the top of the radiator where the plastic meets the aluminum crimps. The car never overheated but it began to smell like coolant pretty badly and would have likely begin to get worse. Decided on the dense unit and it fit like a glove. One item to note, theres a brass fitting stapled to the box flap. Its needed (at least in my case) to allow for the smaller sized fluid temp sensor to mount into the new radiator. Make sure you dont lose or trash the box without grabbing that component first. On a side note, it does not include a new radiator cap...make sure yours works or consider changing it.

I ordered (from Amazon) the UAC compressor kit, Denso condenser (+ fan), Denso radiator (+ fan + coolant temp sensor), and UAC evaporator to overhaul the A/C system on a 2008 Acura TSX that had a seized compressor. All the parts worked out great and the car is now blowing really cold air! Amazon for the win! Perfect replacement for the stock radiator. Be careful when removing the rubber caps to the transmission inlet/outlet. One of them was stuck on there and I didn't find out until after I already installed the radiator. Trying to remove them from above caused unnecessary (albeit minor) scuffs to the fins and the inlet's (or outlet's?) tip itself. Argh! I also got a new coolant temp sensor and even a new lower coolant hose connector because the existing ones were just stuck.

I used this to replace my radiator on my 2005 Acura TSX. Much more affordable compared to what you're going to find at a local parts store. If your temp sensor thread is too small for the radiator, you must use the adapter for the temperature sensor along with the gasket. I did not have to use the adapter so I just reused the gasket from the original temp sensor. It does not come with a radiator cap. Hardest part was pulling off the quick-connect lower hose connection as it was very difficult to pull off from the original radiator. Do not use tools, just pull, spray with lubricant, and persevere. Very Important!! - You need to do a proper bleeding of the cooling system or the radiator will break a seal and leak on you after long and heavy driving. I made that mistake and had to buy another radiator. Here are my tips for a proper bleeding: set front of car on jack stands, remove radiator cap, insert small funnel from discount store into radiator or buy coolant funnel kit, fill radiator until coolant puddles in funnel, set your HVAC system to max hot, turn on engine and accelerate to about 2k RPM, accelerate until the radiator fans turn on two times (easier to use OBD scanner with ECT-engine coolant temp sensor live data), refill funnel as needed, turn off engine, top off radiator and coolant reservoir.

For those buying this part, it comes with a sensor adapter to fit correctly for an Acura TSX 2006. Be aware before getting rid of the box. After almost returning the part, I had ordered another from an auto part store and noticed it had the adapter. I looked closely at the Amazon package and saw it also came with one. Not sure if the description states the adapter. Amazon part was more affordable and worked fine.

This is a good high quality replacement for your OEM radiator. I replaced this in my 2004 Acura TSX after 128,000 miles on the original Honda radiator. When comparing the two you will notice that the new one weighs much less, this is due to the deposits and some coolant in your old radiator. The plastic reservoirs of the Denso brand do tend to feel a little thinner than OEM. Fit and finish: this fits as it should, all mounting points line up and the OEM radiator cap and overflow bottle hose fit properly. The fans mounted up exactly where they should with no modification. The quick release attachment for the lower radiator hose seemed to fit a little loose, but it does not leak at all, this may be the design. Only time will tell but I am very pleased with this product and the fact that is saved my nearly 75% off the OEM from the dealer. Be sure to use OEM Honda fluid though, it's only a few more dollars than generic stuff but has all the additives specific to your engine block material. It's not worth the potential risk for under $10 difference.
