  • Good Fit for 2005 Honda Element
This may not be a Japan model, but it looks well made. I installed this on a 2005 Honda Element. Super easy install. One thing that I do not like about this radiator is where the temperature sensor goes in is plastic. The original radiator was brass. I did not lose much transmission fluid when changing the radiator. But, the fluid was noticeably dirty so I changed it while I was there and while you are there it may be a good time to change the transmission filter. It is easy to get to and you are going to be there anyway. ... show more

  • Exactly what I needed
Fast and free delivery of a radiator to my door. What a far cry from my first radiator replacement in the 80's when the idea of replacing a radiator on my own wasn't on the table. This radiator is a perfect replacement for my son's '05 Japanese manufactured CRV. As many reviewers noted, the temperature sensor receptacle is plastic not brass as on the original but I don't see that as problem (yet). ... show more

  • While both are made by Denso the Honda brand one is made in Japan and has a copper core with a hair better fan shroud fitment
OEM fit for Honda 19010-PPL-A51 HOWEVER it is not OEM quality which should be evident by the price difference. (At time of posting this is about 5x less than the Honda part). Honda radiators have differences. While both are made by Denso the Honda brand one is made in Japan and has a copper core with a hair better fan shroud fitment. This aftermarket model has an all aluminum core and is made in Taiwan. Also important to note is that the factory radiator uses a threaded copper insert for the temp sensor where this one is all plastic, as a result you'll strip it out trying to torque to spec (204 inch pounds). When transferring over said sensor simply snug it up or torque to 100-110 inch pounds. Any more and you risk damaging the threads. The original radiator had yet to fail after 14 years however the fins were corroding away and since it was removed for an alternator replacement I took the opportunity to replace this as well. Given the price difference if this one lasts even half that long i'd be very pleased. ... show more

  • Low Price & easy install
Used on a 2006 Honda Element with 230K miles Can't beat the price & the fact it was OEM. Only difference is that this one is manufactured in Taiwan & the fan switch location is all plastic instead of with a brass insert. Ended up being a fairly simple install once you removed the center support structure. This was the least expensive option at $65, obviously beat the stealership & beat the local parts stores by 1/2. ... show more

  • Stop the Leak, Stop it now.
I came out of work one day and found a puddle under my CRV. It was engine coolant. After looking and checking it turned out to be the radiator. My CRV has over 175,000 miles so far, so having the radiator start leaking was not the end of the world. I priced one at the dealer, over $300.00. Then priced one at the auto store, over a $175.00. So to find this one at the advertised price was great. The same make as the auto store. The unit looks just like the original. It fit my CRV just fine. I pressure tested the system after installation to be sure, and all was well. I have been amazed at the things I have found on Amazon. A couple of months ago I found new tires for my Honda Pilot. I have bought toys for my grandchildren, and electronics also. Thanks Amazon. ... show more

  • Great, at a great price.
Installed radiator in couple hours, fit perfectly on my 03 Honda CrV, like some else mentioned the port where the the temperature sensor screws in to, is plastic(be care full), un like the original was brass, other than that is all the same as the original equipment. Would buy again if I had too.

  • Honda OE fit
Replaced original radiator with this one for a 2002 Honda CRV. Still in use after 2 and a half years with no issues. I also replaced upper and lower hoses and the fan switch.

  • Perfect fit and done
I purchased this for my 2003 Element. It fit perfectly, no issues with the fan slots as others have stated. The radiator I received was made in China and dated 11/30/10... it's 2019. However it was brand new in a sealed box. The unit also had the brass insert for the fan switch, others have complained about it being plastic. Overall a great buy for 1/5th the cost of the Honda part. ... show more
