  • Perfect. Am not very mechanically inclined
Perfect. Am not very mechanically inclined, but viewed the video posted by another buyer on this site and decided to give it a go. Pretty easy. Figure I saved approx. $400 vs. having a "pro" do it. $74 vs. $200+ for the radiator. $0 vs. $300 for the labor. Okay, truth be told, spent $10 on beer to make the labor easier. A few tips: 1) Make sure you harvest/reuse the rubber bushings that support the radiator on the base rail (not supplied w/ the Denso replacement). 2) Buy and use $10 hose clamps if you don't want to lose too much ATF, 3) If you need to replace ATF and you can't remove the 17mm ATF fill bolt (I couldn't; frozen), get a $2 tall, skinny funnel and duct tape a 2-3" segment of a drinking straw or some other narrow fluid channel to the bottom of the funnel. Fill ATF through the dipstick hole; works great. ... show more

  • I would recommend the Spectrum brand made in Canada with a lifetime ...
Denso is the OE for my '99 Acura TL so I thought it was a no-brainer to replace my 17 year-old radiator with this. While it functionally works as designed, the quality and fit do not match the original from Honda. This was is made in China, not Japan. The fitting for the radiator cap in the plastic tank on mine is crooked so my radiator cap sits cockeyed about 15 degrees off center. Also, the top pegs that fit into the radiator brackets are too small. This makes the radiator flop around too much and is not secure in its factory mounts. I had to go to the hardware store and buy some rubber grommets to slip over the pegs to secure it. I would recommend the Spectrum brand made in Canada with a lifetime warranty over this. The new Spectrum radiator for my other Acura is perfect. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
The radiator was perfect (almost). Everything lined up properly except the transmission cooler line fitting coming off the radiator. The factory one had a tighter bend to it, which made it difficult to line-up the cooler lines properly. As is, it would have hit each other. It took a while to massage the fitting and steel lines to ensure they wouldn't rub together. It took me some time, but I finally got it in. Other than that, everything else fit great. ... show more

  • Perfect OEM Exact Replacement
I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX V6 model. This was an exact, and I mean exact, replacement. All you have to do is drain the old radiator of both coolant and transmission fluid, release the wire harness (3 places with one hidden towards the passenger side), swap out both fans to the new radiator and reinstall making sure there are no leaks. My coolant was not that old so I just caught it in a clean bin and reused it, topping off with some distilled water. You'll probably need about a .25 quart of Honda ATF to add back to the transmission. Overall the job from start to finish including setup and clean up took about 2.5 hours. Oh and if you can find an Amazon Warehouse deal, it's that much less expensive. ... show more

  • Nice Radiator
Made in China, but very nice quality radiator. For the price you’re not going to get Made in Japan exact OE down to the stickers and stamps. Be real. Painless install, fits perfect. Has been in service for about 6,000 miles and is performing perfectly. Will update if it fails

  • It’s a radiator!!
It’s the stock radiator so it’s dimensionally the same and quality feels about the same and is a good replacement for the the original accord radiator. It’s easy to install if you know what you’re doing and remember to replace all the rubber spacers and put the clamps back on the right way. Photos on the way. ... show more

  • Great O.E. Part.
O.E. Direct fit replacement for my sister’s Acura TL. Same brand and quality as the Honda dealer part (Denso is an Original Manufacturer supplier for Honda and other Japanese makes), but at a lower price. No fit issues whatsoever. Would not hesitate in buying Denso parts for any Honda vehicle.

  • Perfect fit for '99 Honda Accord EXV6
Fit exactly the same as the Honda OEM radiator I removed. Comparing side by side, all of the connections and mounts matched, tube angles. I appreciated the factory included and installed captive nuts for the fans, making installation even easier. Other than the molded Honda badging on the top and after removing the product sticker, no one would ever guess it wasn't a Honda product. Filled with Honda coolant and had no leaks with original hoses and clamps. Excellent value and would recommend for your similar model Honda. ... show more
