This Denso 'first time fit' radiator lived up to its name. Unlike other aftermarket OEM replacements, this one was a perfect fit. The square nut inserts used to attach the fans to radiator were the correct size and thread to accept original bolts and they were in the correct place - unlike other aftermarket OEM's. The transmission cooler lines were positioned exactly like the original so your existing hoses can be used - unlike other aftermarket OEM's. As far as I know, it is the same company (Denso) that made them when the car was new. Because of this the whole job was completed in short time and it is working without problems so far. Don't pay double the price and waste your time with a poor fitting radiator from the local auto parts store. I recommend to anyone looking to replace their Camry's radiator. Five stars! This review is for part # 221-0501 for a 97 Camry V6 with auto transmission and A/C. The picture used is upside-down but is the correct radiator without cap. If your radiator has a cap on it, this is not for you.

Perfect fit and top notch quality. No issues with radiator swap, took less than an hour to complete. Scheduled for delivery on Sunday by 9PM. I didn't want wait all day so I went to the USPS where I live and drove into the back gate to the loading dock, rang the service bell and to my surprise a young dude answered. I have him my info and 2 minutes later he shows up with my package. I showed him my ID and drove off with my stuff. Installed it that morning and was on the road by 11am. Kickass.. Right on Amazon!

Installed in my son's 1997 Camry V6 with over 200K miles. It fits an functions just fine, no installation issues. Not sure about the long term reliability. Made in Taiwan. Had a quote from a shop for about $400, but I was able to do it for about $90 and my time. That price included new transmission cooler hose and clamps. I just had recently had the timing belt and water pump replaced so I just reused the antifreeze I drained out of the old radiator. FYI, the same part number at NAPA sells for $155.

I'm on my 3rd Denso radiator, each one lasted about 2 years before the rust got to it. These radiators are really well made but their Achilles' heel is the nuts and one bolt on the ATF cooler fittings. If you live in a rust prone area, I highlight recommend coating those spots with some rust preventative paint such as POR-15 to make the radiator last longer. My first replacement leaked from the short fitting on the left, my second replacement leaked from the longer fitting on the right. I coated the 3rd replacement with POR15 so only time will tell if this is a permanent fix. I priced out a new Lexus radiator that lasted 18 years and it's about $400, so if I have to get another Denso replacement, it would've been easier to simply get a genuine unit from the beginning.

Easy to install but this is our job. Anyone who has mechanical abilities can do this one easy just a few tools and done. Recommend so far has been in the Lexus since we received the radiator.

I had to replace the radiator on my Toyota Camry. This radiator fit perfectly and was easy to install. So far, the radiator has been doing great. Denso products are surely the way to go if you want to save on money and get parts that are very similar to OEM Toyota parts.
