My wife gave me a Denby mug a while back. I just love it. We got even more and after years we found a chip on an edge of one. These are so well made I found it unbelievable to find a chip. So we must have really hit the mug against something very hard. As stoneware goes you just have to check one of these out. The quality of the stoneware is second to none! Made in England, the quality is just magnificent. The lip of the mug as you can see is turned outward. This design feature, found more and more on cups and mugs works well to not spill a drop. Have yo ever tried to make a cup of coffee and filled the cup and then put it into a tea kettle to heat? The water goes everywhere but in the tea kettle. Not with this design. It pours cleanly right to where you want it to go- even if it is into your own mouth. I highly recommend you try Denby anything. ... show more

There are so many beautiful patterns in Denby, so it was hard to choose. But I love the Green regency tea pot. My everyday pattern is Greystone. I've been looking for the little fruit bowls in Greystone, but haven't been able to find them.

I am always on the look out for replacements for odd pieces that have got broken over the years ( I have had the same dinner service for 25 years now). I love it always looks nice, doesn't chip easily. Got more expensive over the years but still a good buy.

This is a wonderful teapot. It does not drip, very stable, lovely color that matches my set. Makes about 6 cups of tea with one filling. Denby stoneware does not chip or stain, easy to clean. On the heavy side but great handle.
