Color: 4 PC Set
Denby has lovely glazes. The Azure coast place setting is no exception. The mug handle is a little small, but that is clearly in the picture. The plates are a solid and heavy. The glazes resist scratching and staining. I am such a fan of Denby ceramics. The Azure coast has a pretty teal pattern on the edges of the plates and outsides of the bowl and mug.

Gorgeous design...love the shape!
Color: 4 PC Set
My new favorite bowl and mug. They are the perfect shape...practical and beautiful design. The actual colors are a grayish-blue tones. The plates are very flat, so I might choose a different plate if I'm eating something messy, but that also means they fit better in my dishwasher!

VERY Disappointed
Color: 4 PC Set
What a deep disappointment. My wife and I returned from your honeymoon and bought eight of these using wedding gift money. Why not two sets of four? Because it was cheaper to buy eight of the individual place settings. All arrived with packaging intact, but one set had a broken cup. OK, no biggie,=. So we unpacked them all and set them on our kitchen island (granite counterop). 7 out of 8 dinnner plates, and all 8 bread and butter plates were not flat on the bottom and rocked- some slightly, some horribly. I reached into our cupboard and took down plates from my 20 year old set of Mikasa stoneware. Al sat perfectly flat on the granite surface. This is "Denby quality?" I don't know if Amazon is selling seconds or if this is simply how Denby produces their stoneware. And I don't accept this low quality even if they are hand made. it would be quite a simple step to ensure the bottoms are flat. But what I can say is at Denby prices, this is simply unacceptable. So back they go. Note to Amazon- you are eating enormous costs on this transaction that would have been greatly reduced if the set of 4 place settings were priced the same or less than 4 of the single place settings.

Love the look but pricey for every day dinnerware
Color: 4 PC Set
Bought one set at $84.99 to see if I'd like it. I did...I loved it. Two days later I went to order seven more sets and the price came up 10% higher (labeled as item price change) at $93.99. Coincidence? I doubt it. My only negative comment about the place setting other than the price is that the cereal bowl is rather small. For that reason I would not have much use for eight of them. After checking other websites for deals, I came back to Amazon and decided to buy two sets of dinner plates and seven more salad plates and 4 more mugs as separate items (dinner plates come four to a pack for $58) and I saved money. I purchased the larger soup bowls and a few accessory items on Wayfair as they were less expensive than Amazon. Dishes might be less expensive on Wayfair also if you have a promotional coupon....which I did not.

Not as pretty as pictured
Color: 4 PC Set
The dishware is not as pretty as pictured. The color is duller and the pattern is sloppy. They look like seconds. I have a number of Denby dishes. This is disappointing.

Love the colors
Color: 4 PC Set
Such a pretty pattern! Can't wait to be able to have a full set of 12. They are just a bit pricey to buy all at once.
