I have seen other stainless steel sinks that friends, family and stores have and while this cost more than many, it is much better quality than all the others I have personally seen or used. It doesn't sound like a tin can when you thump it with your hand or when the water is running. I have had no problem with scratching, but then again, I am careful with things like steak knives and butcher knives, because, lets face it, it is made of stainless steel and not carbon steel. I have had no problem with what some people call "rusting" and I'm more inclined to believe that people that experience "rusting" are more likely experiencing staining from some rusty item that the put into the sink. After 4 months of use, I do not believe that I could be happier with this sink. ... show more

Nice, solid sink. I used butyl tape to set it and put the faucet on before seating the sink. I really like it. Installed a cup rinser in the extra hole.

This sink was perfect. I don’t know about problems other people have had, but mine is beautiful. It’s well built. I can get a bit obsessive about flaws and inspected this one carefully. The decking is really strong. My contractor burned two hole bits adding 2 additional holes to it because the deck sheeting is so thick. ... show more

    • Very nice, but rust spots appearing after a month
This sink is great in nearly every way. I love the design. It looks nice, and the cutting board is actually really great. I also like not having to keep a drying rack out on my counter anymore. It was easy to add two more holes for additional taps in my setup by just drilling through the deck. The rounded corners are lovely and very easy to clean. This also happens to be one of the nicest sinks I can find that is top mount. My only two complaints: 1. As others have said, the slope toward the drain should be more aggressive. I do spend a lot of water chasing stuff down the drain. It's relatively easy to clean, though, so this isn't the end of the world. I do feel there's a missed opportunity with the grate, however: with a more aggressive slope, the grate could be designed to compensate for the slope, providing a level surface for dishes etc. 2. Rust. I have a few spots that have rusted inexplicably. I use the grate, so there was no metal item in contact with the basin that could have caused this. ... show more

I had a professional install the sink - the clips were very problematic so he ended up gluing it in place. I read some reviews that complained about having to use a lot of water to get debris into the drain - this is true - it takes a bit to get stuff moving but even with that fault I love the size, the screen at the bottom and the attachments - I actually enjoy washing dishes! ... show more

This thing has it all. Easy clean large radius corners. The cutting bord sets proud of the sink so your knife is not hitting it when you cut. Excellent sound deadening, quality of stainless finish (no rusting), no flex or wobble in basin or faucet. The squareness and trueness of the sink excellent allowing the large basin to drain with out pooling of water. The UPC certification is a big deal as well as it come with many requirements. You will need to purchase a better drain for this as the one it comes with will loosen and cause leaks. ... show more
