After searching online (both Amazon and elsewhere) for a dresser that we could also use as a changing table, I was frustrated with my options. Some pieces were fairly small; others got terrible reviews about pieces arriving with marks or missing parts, etc. Or that assembly was a nightmare. You get the idea. But then I found this dresser. It ticked all the boxes: lots of storage so the kid can use this dresser for years; it's designed so you can put a changing table kit on top that Delta Children's makes esp. for this dresser; it was reasonably priced; it has a lot of very good reviews; it shipped with Prime. Pros: It hits all those points above. Once assembled, it looks very nice in the office/eventual baby's room and the white goes well with the crib, etc. Everything fit fine and there are no marks or chips in the parts. The drawers slide in and out easily. And assembly, while long, is very straightforward. I did it by myself in an afternoon. One final note on putting this together: Like I said, I did this on my own. The box is heavy (100+ lbs) so get someone to help you when it's delivered. The UPS delivery guy was kind enough to help me put it in the house. But then you really don't need a second person. The instructions are clear if you pay attention to the diagrams. I spent 4 hours putting this together, but the first hour was me unpacking the whole thing, laying out the parts, and going through the inventory of parts and hardware to ensure nothing was missing. I took my time, as I would rather spend a little extra time doing it right once then doing it wrong once and right once again. But certainly the folks who said it took them 2 hours to assemble are correct; this is not hard to do if you can follow the diagrams. Overall, very happy with the purchase. The baby will get lots of use out of this and we've bought one piece of furniture that can serve multiple purposes, rather than several pieces of single-use. ... show more

Received and built this dresser ~1 month ago, ended up having issues with the drawers opening. Due to extenuating circumstances, troubleshooting this took a backseat for a while and I finally got around to “fixing” the drawers this week. When I tell you I spent HOURS cursing this dresser, shaking drawers, disassembling, lubricating tracks, etc., I finally called it quits and wrote a scathing review about how junky this dresser was due to not being able to open the drawers; it seemed that all of the tracks down the middle were locked in place. By the grace of God, when I went to submit my review, the app froze and I had to start over. So I went to the reviews before writing another essay. I was so mad I had to see what others had wrote about their experience with the drawers, because surely with all the positive reviews I was missing something. Let me just say that as a dad and a first time parent, I know many household objects need to be childproofed, it just never occurred to me that maybe the dresser came with built-in childproofing. THERE IS A LOCKING MECHANISM which prevents more than one drawer being opened at a time, or in my case, when a drawer has been removed. Sure enough, I completely reassembled everything, and opened each drawer individually, with zero issue. Folks, read your reviews and product description before prematurely preparing to turn your furniture into a campfire. That said, this dresser is visually pleasing, relatively easy to assemble, and most importantly, safe for my child as it is unlikely to tip over due to its dimensions and the locking mechanism of the drawers. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been holding back on purchasing this dresser due to some of the bad reviews but, it went on sale so I decided to take a chance and purchase it anyway. When we first unboxed the dresser, all of the pieces were secure and intact. It took my husband about 2-3 hours to build. The instructions were easy to follow. Once finished, the dresser was absolutely perfection! I wanted a dresser that was not too big and not too small. If your little one likes to hold onto or climb things, no need to worry, the drawers have a locking mechanism where only one drawer on one side can open at a time. It’s also extremely sturdy and heavy. The changing table was not included with the dresser, so I had to purchase it separately. The only thing I do not like is the drawers don’t open as smoothly but, if it wasn’t for that I would rate this dresser a 10/10. I highly recommend! ... show more
