Features

  • Delphi uses winding process techniques to control the length of wire between adjacent windings. Thats important because more length results in greater voltage differences, which in turn create more pressure that could break down the insulation and wire coating.
  • Delphi's ignition coils are engineered to Original Equipment specifications
  • Delphi's ignition coils are designed with proven materials, such as high quality wires and wire coating that resists the cracks, pin holes and imperfections that most often lead to failure issues
  • Epoxy vacuum techniques reduce air bubbles in the epoxy, because having fewer air bubbles increases the epoxy's insulation quality and reduces the chances of energy punch-through failures
  • Delphi's coils are designed and endurance tested to resist the common stresses that cause failure

Description

Delphi's ignition coils are designed to operate as a part of an integral engine management system, to insert power into spark plugs and ensure fast starts, consistent engine performance and optimized fuel efficiency.

  • Brand new car!!!
02 Jag X-Type has been running really really bad for the last year or more. A year ago I changed the spark plugs and intake manifold gaskets but cheaped out and didn't do the coils. I "thought" there were other issues causing the rough running and lack of power. Since we're giving this to our twins that just turned 16 I figured I better do what I can to get it running half way decent so decided to do the coils, brake pads, clean the maf sensor and clean the abs sensors to try and get rid of that obnoxious dcs system fault crap. But after that they can just drive it until it dies. After changing out the coils I'm kind of regretting giving it to the kids lol. I forgot how snappy this little car was when it ran right. The engine is running silky smooth, no hesitation, no spit or sputter and the gas mileage actually came back to 28mpg from what was about 16mpg lol. Only problem is I over-torqued a manifold bolt and snapped the damn thing in half, had the torque set to 90 instead of 7 so that was smart. Fixing that is my project for this weekend lol. ... show more

  • ... car I have owned and Amazon made it so easy for me
This was the first time I have replaced spark plugs and ignition coils on any car I have owned and Amazon made it so easy for me. I bought Delphi GN10327 and Bosch 6701 and some tools from Amazon and performed DIY last night. It was a breeze and more so when the engine misfire disappeared instantly. I used these on my Jaguar S Type Base 2005, straight out of the box. ... show more
