I have purchased 5 walkers for my mother. She has kept 3 of them for different uses. I am MOST impressed with this one! Because of her narrow doorway, she needs a narrow walker. This is by far the narrowest one out there. The wheels can be turned to the inside, making it right around 20 inches wide. It easily folds and it is very compact. It is made of aluminum, but it really sturdy feeling. I have no worries about her using it! I give this my highest recommendation! ... show more

This walker has worked out fantastic for my mother. Her house was built in 1960 and has extremely narrow doorways to every room & bathroom. This walker has completely replaced her old one. It allows her to easily get through the narrow door ways and turn around in her very small bathroom. We just put some large “off road” wheels on it so she can go in her yard. I HAD TO LOOK A LONG TIME, AND DO A LOT OF MEASURING BEFORE ORDERING A DIFFERENT WALKER THAN WHAT I WAS HAVING TO USE. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. I AM JUST 5 FEET TALL, AND ABOUT 110 LBS. ALL THE OTHER WALKERS I TRIED JUST DID NOT FIT ME, TOO HIGH, PLUS THEY WERE SO HEAVY FOR ME TO LIFT WHEN I NEEDED TO DO SO. THIS ONE IS WELL MADE AND VERY LIGHTWEIGHT BUT STILL SAFE IN ALL WAYS AND APPROVED BY MY PTA. THE WORST PART WAS THEY WERE ALL TOO WIDE TO GO THROUGH MY NARROW BATHROOM DOORS, AND OTHER NARROW SPACES IN MY SMALL HOME. THIS ONE IS PERFECT AND HAS SOLVED ALL MY PROBLEMS.
