My first order of these, I am using as watercolor mixing palettes. I can do a different color in each corner, they are bright white, non-staining and easy to wash. Nice curve at edges. Came very well packaged, no breakage either time. My second order was to solve a problem: not remembering where I had put my phone, fountain pen, small things like that. I decided to try using these small rectangular plates as designated "landing pads". I have one in each room where I have this problem: living room, kitchen, etc. For me this is working great, I am about 90% trained that if I set such things down and am not using them at the moment, they go in the bright white dishes. I didn't need all six of the second shipment as landing pads so am actually using two as plates! they work very nicely for that also :-) ... show more

i have been using the bottom of a large butter dish for, well, quite a while as my sandwich plate go-to. Really wanted to find the exact same thing in an actual sandwich plate so I could have a set. My husband prefers to eat his foods on separate plates. He likes these a lot, so hey, that's good. I got these in particular because they said "ultralight". I disagree. They have some weight to them. I was expecting something light like Corelle but in this shape. These are more like a ceramic. On my scale one of them comes in at 12+ oz. A Corelle salad bowl is only 8. Once I put food on it, I found it hard to handle (I have a tremor, and some weakness). All in all the shape and quality are good. But the "ultralight" part is a misnomer, or perhaps, an opinion I do not share. ... show more
