I was really excited for this unit because it was the only one I could find that had an app as an option. However, I cannot get this thing to connect to the wi-fi no matter what I do. I've reset everything a million times. The device is supposed to beep twice when you hold the wi-fi button down, but it only beeps once. but, it's still very sleek looking, it has a constant drainage hole + the filter is ABOVE the hose connector so I don't have to disconnect it in order to clean it because that thing was super difficult to get in the first time! and it's very compact. I live in a studio so I was trying to get the slimmest one I could find. and the child lock?! yes!!!!!! super yes!!!! I have a cat and he loved to jump on my old unit and press all the buttons with his toes, so the child lock really won it over for me. ... show more

I can't fit a window unit in my room, but since I work from home, I need something to keep my room cool. This fits the bill, although on the days when the outside temp reaches the upper 80s, my room doesn't get lower than about 78 or 79, still much better. I love the sleep function, though I wish it switched to the fan instead of off. I like being able to turn it on from the app when I'm out so it's cool when I get back. Fan works well. It's as loud as a normal window AC. On hot/humid days, I empty it once a day, otherwise every other. Overall, quite happy with it. ... show more

Bought it to be portable for outdoors it’s not small but not too big. Will cool down a small - medium room. Not too loud but after a few minutes it will start blowing ice cold. wifi connectivity easy to wheel and carry small downside is that it does give out a lot of water. had it inside and had about a two gallon bucket which needed to be dumped about every 4-5 hours on full blast and the coldest setting. hose is a little short for the water but i found a longer one at the store. ... show more

Definitely cools down my room. Took off a star, bc it's SO LOUD! It's not as quiet as it's described to be. I have this in my bedroom as that's the only room in the house that has no AC for some reason, and it took awhile to get used to the noise. Otherwise, it's easy to install and set up. It was easy to set up and it really cools my room! We had a stretch of 100° weather and this really did help a lot. I did have to run my ceiling fan at the same time to circulate the air so that's the only down side. The unit didn't cool the room by itself. But I am still impressed.
