I bought this for a parent to simplify connecting their Google Pixelbook Go (ChromeOS) to a traditional desktop environment. They connect one USB-C cable for Power, USB Keyboard/Mouse, Speakers, Mic, Webcam, and wired Ethernet? Perfect, I thought. Well, it turns out ChromeOS compatibility isn't 100% at this moment. Works: - Charges device via USB-C Power Delivery - Video over USB-C (didn't try HDMI/DisplayPort In or DisplayPort Out) - Audio over USB-C (volume up/down buttons work on front, didn't try Mic) - USB Hub (connected mouse/keyboard functioned) Didn't work: - Webcam (perhaps a future ChromeOS update will add support) Couldn't try: - Ethernet (no source at the moment) If Ethernet ends up working, and a future update from Google adds driver support for the hardware Dell used for the Windows Hello-compatible webcam, then this will be perfect for my use-case. As-is, without a webcam compatible with ChromeOS, and because Dell documentation or online chat support could not give me *any* information about ChromeOS compatibility, I'd say hold off if that's the main reason you're considering this product. ... show more

I bought this to use for doing video visits from home and remote meetings. Within 1 year the speakers made a weird noise and kind of worked after that. Now I can’t use it at all for these visits because of the speaker.

Since at least half of those who want a good monitor for their conference calls (Zoom, Webex, etc) use MACs, it is surprising that it is not noted in the ads or even in the setup guide that this monitor is not compatible with MAC-OS! Do not buy this monitor if you use MAC. I had to call technical support, and the support staff had to look it up! Eventually, he came back on the line to tell me the bad news.
