I had a previousl model (XPS 9360), and it is very, very similar, but there has been a few changes, no all good: - Obviously, camera placement has been fixed. - All 3 USB ports are type-C. While I love type-C, it would have been great to keep at least one type-A ports instead of carrying an adapter around. - The power brick is now a Type-C. I definitely prefer the universal charger to a Dell-specific one, but you effectively lose a USB port compared to the older version. - 2 of the USB ports support Thunderbolt 3, which is great -- But why are they both on the same side?! I really wanted to plug a dock on the right side... - The keyboard is very similar, except for a minor change: The old one had home/end/PageUp/PageDown on the arrow keys . As someone who spends a lot of time editing and navigating text, the old placement was _much_ better. - SD reader has been replaced with a micro-SD reader, which is probably more useful nowadays. Annoyingly, since I wanted 16GB of RAM, I had to upgrade to got i7 CPU, touch screen and 4K resolution. - Why can't I get an i3 with 16GB of RAM? - Why isn't there a 32GB variant? (The newer XPS 13 2-in-1 does) ... show more

    • I do not like the touch pad
I bought this "open box" and received everything included as far as I know. It's a pretty fast little machine, small and lightweight, I like that compared to my 17" Alienware. The only complaint is the touch pad. It clicks in the center and it's a "left click" but a lot of times you don't feel it and you inadvertently do the wrong thing as you navigate the web and such. To solve this problem I bought a mouse to use and that solved that only complaint ... show more

Received the product and it was a HASSLE! I had to be on the phone with Del for over an hour because the system administrator was disabled. I had to re-install EVERYTHING. Will never buy here again.

Very satisfactory experience. I like this product and it works exactly like new. Note if you experienced high cpu usage issue when connecting a monitor to the left side thunderbolt port, you can solve this by disabling the thunderbolt energy saver in the device manager. This is a common problem for thunderbolt port and there's a solution on the internet. ... show more
