I bought this bag 8 years ago when I had a 6 and 10 year old kids. It has been a perfect bag for kits and I got a ton of great use out of it. The straps just this year gave out on me and I am searching for a more adult friendly bag. Pros: Capacity is HUGE! I am noticing that a lot of beach bags show capacity in liters. This one doesn't but I can tell you for sure that it can hold way more than the 35L bag I just bought to replace it with. I can fit 4 large beach towels in this bag, plus all the stuff that comes with kids. Exterior and interior pockets fit a ton of stuff (I sometimes have up to 6 cans of sunblock and bug spray staged across the outside pockets. The inner zipper pockets can keep more precious items safe and accessible. Even with all the towels, there is still room for goggles, toys, and the random stuff that you need for kid. The bag is practically nothing when empty. The straps are a comfortable length and are decently comfortable on your shoulder unless the bag is way over-filled (then it can dig in a bit). Cons: I don't know why they advertise this as "sand free" or sand resistant. It's mesh. It has holes. Sand WILL get in your bag when you sit it on the beach, but not a ton. Since it's mesh, you are also going to get your stuff wet if you put it on a wet pool deck. It is most definitely not waterproof or sand proof. The bag collapses once you have removed your big items and it can look very untidy. I store it on a shelf with my sunblock still inside and it's kind of a mess if it moves around. Stuff falls out of the pockets easily when it's collapsed and not standing up. Also, they say it's "no odor". I just bought a new one and it reeks of chemical odor. You will definitely need to air it out for a while before using. I 100% recommend this for families with kids. It has been a great bag. ... show more

I’m a total bag lover, and this one is definitely in my top 5! We brought it on our last beach trip, and for once, the sand actually stayed at the beach — not piled up in the bottom of my bag! The pink and white color combo is perfect, it’s super well made, and the mesh design with tons of pockets makes it so practical. I have had this tote for about 4 years now, and it is holding up very well. I love this tote for any beach getaway, but I'm sure it could be used for other things as well. The design makes it easy for sand to fall out the bottom of the bag rather than coming home with you as your least favorite souvenir. Tons of exterior pockets, interior zippered pouch, and large interior primary storage area fits tons of things! I used it on a recent trip and it held everything I needed with plenty of room to spare. I purchased this bag after seeing an influencer rave about it. I have 4 kids and we visit the swim club almost daily, so I needed a functional bag that carried tons. While I can fit quite a bit in this bag, the outer pockets are very difficult to actually use if the interior is full. I ended up just using a few smaller bags to keep the interior organized and ignored the outer pockets. The zip pocket inside is perfect for my phone and some hair ties. I also stuck a sunscreen face stick and some spf lip balm in this pocket as well. It’s plenty sturdy and was great when we took the kids to the beach. I could just shake most of the sand out of the bag and by the time we made it back up to the condo there was really minimal mess. The biggest regret I have about this bag is that it doesn’t have a shoulder carry option. I almost always carry bags as a tote, but when we were going back and forth to the beach and the condo, I also was carrying my 2 year old and it would have been much easier to manage our stuff if I could have slung it over my shoulder. Another thing I feel is worth mentioning is that when it arrived it had a STRONG chemical smell. Overpowering. Like within just a few minutes I could smell it across the house. I hung it outside on the back porch for a couple of days and it cleared up fine. But just be aware that you won’t want to use it straight out of the box. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of this bag! I needed something for the beach. I had been using a small canvas tote which barely fit half of what I needed. So I would end up carrying all the rest and my hands were full. This bag is great. Lots of pockets for my sunscreen, goggles, magazine/book, iPod etc, etc. The inside is large enough for my large beach towel, XL water bottle, over the swimsuit clothes, flip flops, soft bag cooler and more if I needed it. I sling it over my shoulder and I am good to go. Very comfy. I didn’t care about color, it’s a beach bag! So I got the cheapest which was a lemony/lime yellow with blue straps. Love it! I can see it from quite a distance!l down the beach. I also like the mesh. I just shake it a little bit when I get back home and it seems like the sand just shakes right out. Either that or it didn’t collect much sand to begin with. Note: I’m using this for me, alone. I think it would be fine size wise for a couple adults, maybe one child. Purchased this bag for a friend of mine who was traveling on vacation. She had just had a pretty intense surgery a few months ago and recovery has not been easy. I wanted to get her some nice things for her to take on vacation with her, and this bag has been on my list for awhile. I was shocked at how big it actually was! Perfect for a family to put a ton of towels and all their beach/pool items in. I have it set next to a Vera Bradley duffel for size comparison. It’s also really cool that it’s mesh , so you can shake out any sand. Love all the color options and that there’s large pockets for sunscreen, etc. Now I need to get one for myself ! ... show more

This beach bag provides the necessary room to easily fit lots of beach gear into it. Going to the beach I was able to fit four full sized beach towels (rolled), binoculars, snacks, iPads, etc., etc.,..with plenty of room to spare. The inside pocket is great for storing the smart phone(s), earphones, car keys, etc. The outside pockets are perfect for sun tan lotion, bug spray, bottles waters, whatever. Some reviewers complained of a chemical smell when first receiving the bag. Yes there is a slight smell and it may be more offensive to some rather than others. As a previous reviewer stated they just let it air out for a few days. That’s what I did. I hung it in the garage for a few days until we were heading to the beach and the odor dissipated naturally.
