I ordered one for my full size bed, to help preheat the bed on cold nights... It was awesome... The best part is, if you set it on 1 or 2, your bed stays warm all night long, no matter how cold the room gets.. It is a really good warmer.. I even used it in the summer... I turn the AC on, turn the heater up to 2, and snooze away... I used to use a heating pad to help keep me warm at night, but the pad only keeps the body parts that it touches warm, but the heated mattress cover, keeps everything warm.. I strongly recommend it..

Update Nov 8, 2024: I've had this item 11 months and sadly the item has died. It stopped working and the 1 position is flashing, which I read to mean it has a bad connection somewhere. Tried unplugging and replugging the connection box and also the main cord from the wall but neither fixed the issue. To be honest, I greatly appreciate whatever features allow it to sense an issue and stop working so that I don't need to worry about it overheating or being a fire hazard. I have used it every single night (even through the summer on a lower heat setting) for nearly a year. Worth every penny and still very glad I made this purchase. Personally, I am ok with the short-ish lifespan of the product to ensure all its safety features are current, but I am going to try another brand to get a different/better controller for more options like picking how long it stays on and a wider range of heating temp steps. ---------------------------------------- I was really skeptical to get this but I needed a solution because it's been so cold lately and this was on sale. I was so surprised how well it works! Not only does the heating work better than my expectations, I found that even on my tempur pesic mattress I personally cannot feel any wires or discomfort. I've had it a week, so if it stops being comfortable I'll update my review. Though I did give this 5 stars because it's comfortable and works well, there is one major thing I wish were better about the design. I wish the controller had more functions, specifically a timer you could set. There is an auto shut off built in but it's on an 11 hour internal timer - I don't really need to run it for that long.

I’ve had two of these in the last two years completely stop working within 8 months of use. It just slowly stops warming and takes hours upon hours to heat up. (About 6.) Then one day the controllers start blinking and it never works again. It is supposed to have a 5 year warranty so I contacted the company & got a replacement for the first one. Now I live in a new country and can’t exactly get a replacement for the second failed mattress pad heater. I won’t get this brand again. My previous brand lasted me 5 years and I’ll go back to that brand.

I bought this a year ago and it works just as well as when I first bought it. Sometimes heating pads and heat blankets lose their strength after a while and often they just stop working out of the blue. But this heated mattress pad is still going strong! Plus, I can't feel the wires below the sheets which I'm extremely picky about, feeling the slightest bump below me. I love the six settings and the 10 hour timer. This is great for cold homes. We live in a thinly insulated RV and setting it on 6 for a half an hour before bed, then turning down to 1 or 2 at night is perfect for me.

I happen to run hot, and my partner is always cold. This Degrees of Comfort Heated Mattress Pad has been a relationship saver! The dual controls are fantastic - we can each set our own perfect temperature without any fuss. The pad itself is very comfortable; the breathable air-layer prevents overheating. On a side note, our ball python, Morty, finds it very beneficial as well. When we need to take him out of his enclosure for cleaning or just simply to hang out with us, he no longer needs to be relegated to a small space for warmth. Now that I have this heated pad, he's able to utilize the full size of our queen size mattress for exploring instead of being couped up in a small 2x2 makeshift enclosure (which is probably for the best!). I appreciate the 10-hour auto shut-off for peace of mind. Overall, this is a high-quality product that I highly recommend.
