    • Very Good Overall, But One Drawback

I have been using this heated mattress pad for several months now. And, overall, I would rate it very good. The fitted sides are designed to fit up to 15 inch deep mattresses, but it also works well for my much smaller 10 inch mattress. The controller is easy to operate with glow in the dark settings indicating the heat settings, and with elevated buttons (easy to find/feel in the dark) for power on and for preheat. The 5 heat settings have been more than adequate. The auto-timer options are very convenient (30 minute preheat shutoff, 10 hour power shutoff). Good cord length. And no problems with using a fitted sheet on top of the mattress pad. The one significant drawback is the location of the plugin module for my full size mattress. That plastic module (where the cord plugs into the bed) is on top of the mattress at the foot of the bed (about 4 inches from the mattress edge), and in the center of the mattress. So, if you are thinking of getting the full size mattress, be aware that you may have to get used to bumping into the module with your feet (depending on how you sleep, and where you sleep on the mattress). For me, the positive features of this mattress pad outweigh that one drawback. ... show more

HIGHLY recommended! This wonderful mattress pad helps us sleep better! The controls are simple, and provide perfect temperature control. The "preheat" setting gives a one-hour increase in temps, then shuts off to whatever temp is selected for the night. That feature is perfect for initial warming of the bed, or if for some reason a person wants a short increase in heat during the night. The 10 hour automatic-off is an ideal time to allow for whatever sleep time a person prefers - easy to turn off when you get up in the morning! It is better than an electric blanket, which layers cords with other bedcovers - this mattress pad provides a soft cushion of warmth. We LOVE IT!!! ... show more

Has dual control, one for each side. Control stays illuminated so you can see what's going on with it yet the light is so minimal it's not disrupting to sleep at all. Plugs in at the bottom of the blanket and has cords that are long enough for the control to be on your night stand. The warmer does it’s job and warms things up, except my feet. It doesn’t warm the bottom very well. The heat seems to be most in the mid back to shoulder area. I don’t feel the wires but I use flannel sheets in the winter. I wish it had a timer. I did read that if you do some Nintendo style button sequence a timer will turn on but could never figure it out. ... show more

I remember working with a nurse several years ago who would say, "I just told my husband to warm up the bed for me and I'm heading home, everyone, so have a good night!" When I finally had the nerve to ask her what she meant by this (since she said it everyday in the wintertime), she laughed and said they had a heated mattress pad that you could preheat so your bed would be toasty warm when you climb in for the night. I knew immediately I wanted one but it would take me many years to finally order one. I don't know why I waited so long!!! The preheat setting is awesome and only takes a few minutes to come up to a very comfortable warmth that has helped me stay asleep so much better because I don't wake up with cold feet anymore! This doesn't get so hot it could burn you and I go to sleep and wake up with a warm bed. The only down side for us is that we have a King size bed, and our wall outlet is to one side (not in the middle), so one of the two controllers is really stretched to reach my husband's side of the bed - but it does reach. Ok , let me start I love this. Turn it on just before getting ready for bed, and by the time your ready. Your sliding in to a toasty warm bed. The only thing that could top this out to 100% would be a timer function. So I can set it to turn off after 2 hours or so. I would definitely buy this again.

I recommend this brand! This is my second pad I have bought. This one is excellent! Heats up within 5 minutes! The settings are hot enough where you don’t need the highest settings! Love this so much. (The first one I bought was a sunbeam brand and it didn’t work well at all. One side never heated up. I think the cords got damaged somehow.
