This is the perfect gift for kids. Its a remote control Jeep that has cool lights and can play music. It also has a mist function that mimics smoke which can also be controlled with the remote. The car itself is pretty light weight and this comes with a couple of rechargeable batteries. This can be played indoor or in the back yard. This is not a high quality Jeep that an enthusiast would want to buy, but this is for kids looking to have some R/C fun. Its also a Jeep which many kids already love. I have to say, this remote control Jeep ended up better than I expected. I was very impressed with the way this car handled once we got the lithium batteries charged up. You still need to supply your own 2AA batteries for the actual remote control which I thought came with the product, but at least it provided the lithium batteries that go in the JEEP. You will have to have your own computer or USB charger to attach the USB cord to in order to charge up the lithium batteries first, which took about an hour. The turquoise color of this car is gorgeous and really stands out when you are driving it outside. This car also has actual working headlights and blue backlights! It makes sounds as you are driving it, although I didn't notice any music sounds as advertised. It comes with a small screwdriver that you will need to unscrew the battery cover for the JEEP along with some small accessories for the JEEP such as a shovel and some additional lights for top of car (don't light up). We haven't tried out the fog mister yet so can't comment on that. The JEEP drives really fast and is very easy to control with the remote. My kiddos were very happy with this product! ... show more

This RC Jeep is pretty cool. The headlight has a bright White LED output and the bumper has bright Blue LED Lights. The sound effects are spot on and matches with controls that are being given. It even has gear changing engine sounds as you accelerate faster. The RC Vehicle itself is robust. The plastic body of the vehicle is re-enforced by thick plastic, which seems to be good quality. The jeep is rear wheel drive and drives pretty smooth. The top speed is pretty good, although, I would prefer faster, but still fast enough for an adult to enjoy, and especially a child. The remote is very intuitive, so the child will be able to pick up the controls pretty quickly. The coolest feature is the exhaust smoke/fumes. It gives off a realist vibe as you are accelerating. The Jeep is a perfect size to me, which allowed me to get creative and integrate some of my action figures that I had laying around. Overall, very sturdy RC that is worth the price.     • Toygrade with motor soinds
This has decent speed for a toy RC and the engine sounds are cool. After messing with it for a little bit I'm thinking the brakes don't need a squealing sound as if I slammed on the brakes EVERYTIME I slow down. And then I'm thinking this imay be cool for a child and he won't notice or he annoyed by it. But then there's the sound I'll guess is the turning signal which is cool but it seems the jeep can only play one sound at a time so the turning signal sound fights the acceleration sound as in turning I think this could've been better thought out so I lower the rank but raised it because it is for children. The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased a Jeep and its become the only vehicle my four year old Grandson wants to ride in when we are out and about. My Son stated that every time he sees a Jeep on the road he yells out "Gramps Jeep". When I saw this on Amazon I had to to get it. After it arrived I assembled it and got it ready for action. He came over that evening and I drove it out into the living room where he could see it. His eyes lit up and he ran over to try and catch it. I told him that this Jeep was "Michaels Jeep". It took him about 20 minutes to master the remote control. The Jeep is pretty quick inside the house or on concrete but it struggles getting traction in the sandbox and in the areas where we have with thicker grass. The Jeep is made of plastic and has held up to numerous crashes into chairs, the walls and the dog. It's not Tonka Truck tough but it's tough enough to withstand the abuse he's been putting it through. The smoke from the exhaust is great and lasts quite awhile before you have to fill the tank with water. It also makes engine noise that can get a little irritating after awhile but thankfully can be turned off. This is the first toy he looks for when he comes over and he he will go through both batteries before we put it away. The batteries last about 40 minutes or so and take approximately two hours to charge. I had intended for him to take this home with him but his parents decided that it would stay at our house. For some strange reason all the noisy toys stay at our house. 5 stars for being very high on the fun scale. ... show more

    • Fun Jeep With Some interesting Extras
This jeep is one of the better remote control models in this price range. It works well indoors or out. It can traverse some pretty rugged terrain, just like its real counterpart. If a real Jeep could navigate the terrain, it is likely this model can also navigate the same appropriately scaled landscape. The product description is accurate. Control is quite good and very realistic. Carpet does not bog down this jeep. The range of the controls is over 100 feet. The range is sufficient for anything a jeep this size would sensibly be asked to do. Even with other controllers and radio-controlled devices in the vicinity, there was no interference or confusion. Charging the battery is simply removing the battery and plugging the battery in. The battery charges in about an hour. The jeep comes with two batteries, allowing about 30 minutes of wild racing before the batteries need recharging. The lights, smoke, and sound are nice plusses. The instructions are adequate, and I was up and running in less than ten minutes after I received it. It arrived in two days without any issues. Overall, this jeep is a riot and definitely a lot of fun. My next agenda item is getting a second one and finding someone to race with. ... show more
