Having experience with both regular size and mini drones, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the DEERC mini drone, so far, we have had it for a short time and love it. We have only flown it indoors due to rain, even though it is mostly for indoors it can be flown outdoors in a light wind. It's fairly small and light weight so it could easily fly away so you have to be careful when flying it outdoors. The remote is lightweight and fairly easy to use, we did have a little difficulty binding it to the drone but after following the instructions and a couple attempts it binded or paired if you aren't familiar with therm. It flies fast and like most mini drones it's not quiet so don't expect to fly it if someone is sleeping nearby. One of the features we are excited to try out is the "Altitude Hold" you really can't test that indoors unless in a gym or something with high ceilings, this specific feature is often found in full size drones. The housing makes it safe to fly with no risk of the propellers doing damage. The RGB lighting patterns are fun and there is a LED front light that you can manually adjust, with a simple press of a button you can turn all the lights off and conserve the battery. We were able to check out the flip feature and it works great. The drone sometimes will pull to one side but with the trim feature that's easily corrected. The batteries charge with the included charger and charge time gives is about an hour, a green light comes on the USB charger when charging is completed. flight time on one battery averaged around 8-10 mins depending on if the lights are on or off. With the 2 batteries it comes with you can be constantly flying but like with all brushless motors not resting them will shorten the lifespan of the motor. The 4 brushless motors are strong when it flies by you it's like a moderate fan fanning you. It comes with extra propellers and a wrench to remove the propellers. The instruction manual is fairly easy to follow. Our opinion of this little drone is it's fun and easy to fly, it's great for beginners and experienced drone enthusiasts as well, order one today.

Got this for my daughter and it’s a great toy but it’s loud and one of the wings already quit working. They do come with spare parts which I haven’t used yet because she stopped playing with it. The batteries do die fast so i have to rotate charging them. I also had to keep paring it back to the remote after it would hit objects.

This is fun little machine. But it is very delicate. My son accidentally hit a wall and it cracked. Be careful with it. But it is fun and easy to operate.

This drone is a lot of fun. If you’re looking for some thing that you can use with younger kids that they won’t easily break. This is a great option. It’s lightweight, you get 10 or 12 minutes per battery, there’s basically no danger of kids hurting themselves with the design. There is a cage that surrounds the propellers on top and protects both the blades and little fingers. My four year old is able to fly it around indoors though it does take some practice. Being able to read the names on the Remote certainly makes a difference. My kids love that they can change their LED patterns and have a bunch of options. You can whiz around with it to circles, do flips, and spin in a circle, while at the same time revolving in a circle. But the coolest thing about it is that most of the time you can just throw it up in the air – as long as you keep it flat – and it’ll start on its own. I assume it has either an accelerometer or a pretty cool gyro. The bottom line is that It’s a lot of fun for the kids, it’s pretty fun for me too, and it just works. Also, if I need to I can grab it out of the air and the propellers will stop on its own. This company generally has good prices, good, customer service, and only sells quality items. If you’re looking for a fun little indoor drone, this is great. Also, while you can fly it outdoors with no wind, it’s light as a feather and if any wind kicks up, you’re gonna lose it. And keep it away from trees.
