This fence works well for protecting small trees from deer. It has survived a few wind and rainstorms so far without any damage. The fence also includes zip ties which are helpful to attach it to whatever garden stakes you are using.

The fencing was ok. It is made from a material more like twine than what I needed. It should work better for more traditional uses. I needed it for a balcony railing to keep my dog from jumping through the openings.

REVISED REVIEW: Once you get used to the idea that this is netting, wow does it work good for applications such as wrapping around T posts to protect my lilacs in front of my desk. This is so much better looking than the bent fencing circles I was using, and the black mesh more or less disappears to the eye. I did add a row of chicken wire to the bottom, and ziptied it to the netting, do deer cannot poke this noses underneath to lift up the netting. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is more what I would call 'netting' not rigid or semi-rigid 'fencing' I ordered this with a view to put it on my three-wire fence between T posts to keep my chickens off the nearby road. I had thought from the pictures it was a rigid fencing material, but actually it is more like heavy bird netting, soft and saggy on its own. I've taken off a star because the photos and the word "fence" in the product name are misleading. Further, the 4 ft height would not be a deer deterrent, although the higher vesions *might* work. I'm not entirely sure I will use this as planned, since I am somewhat concerned that a chicken could catch a foot in it or a chick could catch its head. It might be perfectly decent though as a bird and hail deterrent over one of my raised beds where I am trying to establish bee balm. and salvia, and fine netting is blocking a fair amount of sun. It does look like it would be reasonably durable. First off, to call this fence is a big stretch. This is simple netting. And this comes very tightly folded up, not at all on a roll as pictured. I’m sure that makes shipping easier, but it makes trying to handle it a nightmare. There is no way to stretch it out and make it look neat because it is permanently creased. There is no way this would keep a deer out of anything! I am giving it 3 stars because it is the size promised and it will work for our needs which is to keep chickens out of our garden. But I do not think it is worth the price they are charging.

Well, I suppose you could use this as a fence, but it is not self-supporting. If you want to use it for a fence, you will have to have vertical supports at least every couple of feet. Personally, I think it is more suited for an application that calls for netting. The holes in the materialare about a half inch square so this product should be very effective at keeping birds out, which is the application that I needed it for. When using it as netting, it is very easy to cut to size, ordinary scissors are fine, and easy to attach using a staple gun. 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch staples recommended. This material is very flexible so it is easy to form it to follow the contours of an irregularly shaped installation area.I have installed this in a gazebo where we’ve had major problems with bird infestation, and so far it has proven very effective in keeping them out. This is about the fourth product we’ve tried for this purpose, and the first one that has actually worked, so that is saying something! I’m taking off one star only because I believe that the description in the listing may lead buyers to believe that this is suitable for fencing, but I really don’t think that is the best application for this product.

We got this to use for a fence and some for netting to protect our chickens in their run from predators. This would work great around a garden too, if I have any leftover. This is a great fence to have! It's solid fencing. There is some stretch to it, but not a ton. It's very manageable and workable for either job. It comes with 50ft which is quite a bit to work with. It also has a bundle of zip ties to connect it. Having the black color helps you to be able to see through your fencing better. Makes it more capable to check your chickens if needed. I am impressed with the quality of it! It is small enough to keep most animals out like a hardware cloth. I would get it again.

I’m using this fence to separate my Silkie chickens from my Sultan chickens, and it works really well for small breeds. The size and height are just right, and setup was quick and simple. The netting is lightweight and flexible, which makes it easy to move or adjust, but it’s not built for heavier animals like goats, dogs, or deer. It feels a little thin, so I’m curious how it will hold up long term, but for my small chickens, it’s been reliable and does the job. Overall, it’s a practical and versatile option for separating small flocks without any hassle. So far it’s serving its purpose. I’ll see how the durability is after extended use.
