Our Deer Fence Posts – Garden Fence Poles are premium quality heavy duty steel guaranteed to last. Weather resistant, stronger than most metal deer fence posts on the market. Protect your garden or property with these poles, easily attach netting or fencing. Sold 10 poles per set.For easier installation we recommend using the 4 ft posts as ground support posts. The purpose of these steel angle posts is twofold. The idea is that this post increases the total height of your fence to the height of your other post.The 4ft post is the only post that is pounded into the ground. Due to its short height it is the easiest to pound, wobbles the least and requires no step ladder, etc. to reach. You pound 24-36 inches into the ground, depending on soil hardness, frost depth, etc.Then put your 8 ft tall post next to this 4 ft ground support post. Match up the flanges of both posts so that the flange with holes meets on both posts. The bottom hole on your tall post gets a bolt, nut and washer and should be right above ground level on the 4 ft post. The other bolt, nut and washer then is used at the top of the 4 ft post again into the hole on the tall post it matches.Makes for very easy installation! Please select the option that works for you; either the combo set that includes both the 4ft and 8ft posts. Or select the 4ft posts only. Or the 8ft posts only.
