I've been using this for a couple of days now, and my sleeps are way better than before. I already have a memory foam mattress and it is already comfortable by itself, but adding this mattress pad just takes it to another level of comfort. I'm not sure what kind of fabric this is, but it is cool to the back and lets your skin breathe. The soft foam inside is just enough thickness to give you comfort and not too much that you feel buried in the bed. The fitment of this mattress pad is perfect ( I got the queen size), it is tight enough so that it won't slide off when you move on the bed. So far, I am really loving the comfort of this mattress pad. The way it feels, this pad is perfect both for cold season and warm season. Highly recommended.

SUPER thin but I just needed it to cover the 4in thick foam pad (also from Amazon, LOVE it) and the mattress. It's really soft and the pockets are deep, stays in place and keeps my fitted sheet from slipping up the sides of the bed. It was well packaged, no odors and arrived very quickly. Would not do much for a plain mattress, unless it is a nice pillowtop one or has thick foam on it. If you want a really thick plush mattress pad topper to soften the bed itself, plan on spending AT LEAST $60 or more. I once spent nearly $100 on one at the Sleep Number Store, and it was super thick and plush and came with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately was in one of several boxes that got lost on my cross-country move 3 years ago :( Moral of the story is you get what you pay for. Will update after it's been through a few washes.

It's not memory foam it feels like shredded old cotton. I realize in shipping things gather in one end but I spent over an hour trying to re distribute the contents of this pillow topper. And it doesn't fit a big size bed It's about 2 inches too big on each side. If I could send it back I would . It's lumpy and bumpy , you never get the contents where they should be .
