After installing a raised planter this year, my dog decided she needed to be curious about it and keeps jumping in! Ha! I picked these up as a visual deterrent and to add some height. In addition to placing them around the edge of the planter, I also placed four of them on an edge of our other garden bed that she has been prone to run through. Of course, she could jump over them if she so chose, but they've worked great as a deterrent to slow her down. From a quality stand point, I'm impressed with how thick and sturdy they are. They are superior to the basic cheapies from the big box stores and were easy to install into my Michigan soil. They were packaged in a way to prevent damage from one another, which was a blessing and a curse. Pro-tip, take some scissors to the top where the plastic wrap is shared between all layers, and THEN peel the layers apart. Mine was missing the zip ties, but they weren't needed for my application.

I've bought cheap fencing before (the kind you roll out), and I was unhappy with it. It was flimsy and hard to push into the ground. These fencing panels are completely different. They are MUCH sturdier, and they push into the ground easily. They are also a lot more attractive. They are not going to be a barrier for a big or determined dog, but they will be a deterrent for my dogs. They are big, but they're too lazy to jump over things if they can walk around them. I'm using these panels to discourage my dogs from trampling on delicate plants. They don't form a continuous barrier, so my dogs can just walk around them bypassing the plants I'm trying to protect. I think they will help, and they look good, too.

I am using them in side yard to keep tomato plant in place. They are easy to install and increase the yard appeal but doesnt hold very well mainly due to light weight. My toddler easily pull them almost every time she gets into the yard.

Small creature fence; Thick metal, well thicker than old coat hanger wire. Just enough to frame in my small flower bed, Not a fan of the plastic zip ties, but they work. Rabbits, raccoons, foxes, I am really hoping this is deterrent for all of them, The fence does look nice, I am thinking about getting more to put along the driveway flower bed.

This was inaccurately described: Each panel is 17" wide, and about 13" tall (including the part that goes in the ground), not the 17" high and 13" wide as the description states ('17""H x 12.7""W'). That said, the completed fencing will be approximately 10 feet long. With approximately 4" inserted into the ground, it falls somewhat "short" of what I hoped. Generally though, it is well constructed and easy to set up. The local Eastern Cottontails will easily hop inside to munch on your lettuce.
