I ordered this as a small fence for my cats, so that they can go outside on our porch and enjoy the nice weather without escaping. It's not as high as I had hoped, so they could certainly jump over it if they wanted to. However, they have not tried jumping over it yet and I'm planning to provide "supervised" play when they are using it. The holes are too small for a cat, rabbit, or other medium-sized pet to fit through, so it works great for this purpose. It's also heavy enough to stop them from pushing it around, and the spikes would secure it in place if using it on dirt or grass. Even on a hard surface, the spikes help hold the fence in place. I suppose it would also casually keep out some critters and pets, though I'm sure many could jump or climb over it if they tried. I'm very happy with the quality and excited to spend more time on my front porch with my indoor cats. 5 stars! ... show more

These are nicely made and heavy duty enough to hold up. Very easy to put up. These are the best temporary fences I've used! The reason I took a star off is I wish they had sent an extra rod. That way I could have had a space between the fences. I have some columns and having to keep these together, crossing the column, I came up short in length. I think anyone might want that extra rod to have some fence on each side of a walkway or even a tree. ... show more

This is the second fence like this that I acquired to keep my dog out of flower beds. The previous fence was poorly designed and poorly made (and, ultimately, was unusable). With that in mind . . . - This is well designed - the wires are in the right place and of the right strength to make durable fence panels. - Spikes / poles are solid and straight - Easy to assemble - Price is competitive Note: If you want a gate, then with one of the panels only put the spike through one side - then you can attach it on the other side with a bungee or similar device. Super pleased with the quality made, heavy weight, size and strength of these fence sections. This is my second time ordering this style of fence, this brands design of the connector tunnels made sliding the rods through them a breeze, my solo assembly was so much easier. The large rods are substantial, long and hefty weight, allowing them to be pushed deep into the ground, which is giving the fence. great stability. I’ve been able to close off an area, from my two Schnauzers who love to dig, the fence height is plenty tall to keep them from jumping over it. My budding Peonies are now safe. Being 10 panels, plus all the positives mentioned above for its one hundred fifteen dollar price point is serving high value for me. Super happy with this fence! ... show more

I ordered the 32 inch high fencing. It is good but probably the 40 inch would have been better: in both cases, anyway, the tender leaves of a young tree are not safe from the deer, BUT if you pick, like I did, the 10 panels and not the five, you can position the protection far enough from the tree to make it safe. It is also easy to assemble, sturdy, easy to fix solidly in the ground. And certainly more elegant than the nets that I used in the past. ... show more

Love this fencing! Was easy to install and it looks great. The instructions are written in quite crude English but not difficult to figure out. I did start out with trying to line the fencing up the wrong way but quickly figured it out. Just make sure you're using a dead-blow hammer to ensure you do not damage the powder coating and to help prevent bending the stakes in case you hit something solid. ... show more
