This is solid steel, much better rim than the hollow rim it replaced that came on the original hoop from Amazon. I’m almost glad the old rim broke when the hoop was blown over in a bad storm, so I could replace with this. Also came with 2 nets which was an added bonus.

We used this as a replacement to our son’s basketball hoop. We read the directions which was for a wall mount and it is tilted. I came out to Amazon and read on the FAQ that you should use the original screw. Why did you not put that in the instructions in the package?!
