The curtains are fine for blocking light, but their quality control is awful. The hems are completely uneven both in the same curtain and across different curtains, making the lengths of two panels inconsistent. I even thought maybe I had gotten a lemon and ordered another set to be sure, but they all have this problem. Frustrated that this is taking unnecessary time and energy.

The colour is pretty accurate to the images shown, and the curtains do block 95% light in the room. I would use additional sheers or blinds for large window openings, places which get a lot of sun, or if you want NO LIGHT at all showing, however. They are made of thick, nice material, not too shiny.

I ended up ordering the lavender set based on the reviews and pictures showing how they were more pink than lavender. These ended up matching my sectional and the blush colored accent pillows perfectly. For being darkening curtains, these are pretty lightweight. Looks like the majority of the complaints being made about how they don't block enough light are from people who don't use blinds or enough panels for their windows. The only light that I have come through is the typical above and on the sides of the curtains, but that's not really preventable. The fabrc is also of very nice quality; rather quite soft, in my opinion. I just put these up a few hours ago and I'm already in love with them. They immediately made my living room feel more homey. Considering buying some for my bedroom now! These are really some of the best curtains I have ever owned. These are really a must buy when you're looking for curtains. Great price too! Will upload some pictures, please don't mind the clutter. We just moved.

Purchased the turquoise for my daughter's room, I gave two stars for the color because they are actually a nice turquoise unlike others I tried ordering off of here that ended up more of a light baby blue. Also the material is nice and soft! They do an Ok job blocking out the sun in the morning but sadly they aren't the same length and I know our curtain rod is not slanted since we have tools to show its level. I tuck the one end behind her bed right now so it's not as noticeable, for the price they are alright but they need to be more careful with there length for each panel matching.

Blackout Curtains for Bedroom Soundproof Thermal Insulated Room Darkening Window Curtains, Mellow Yellow, 42x72 Inch, Set of 2 The above is what the item description says on Amazon. And it is NOT TRUE. I have black out curtains in my bedroom so I know what black out curtains are. These are NOT even close. They are have a cheap polyester feel and have no backing like my other black out curtains. These are no more than any other regular curtain. Soundproof? Laughable. When I read soundproof in the description I thought that they must have some heft to them and bought rods from Amazon anticipating that heft. My shower curtain is heavier than these! I put these over wood blinds to shut out light. They have failed to do that. Black out curtains block the light. These curtains just gave everything a light yellow glow. I can clearly see every slat on the blinds behind them so that gives you some idea of their "black out" performance. This is without the sun beating in yet from the west. As for quality, I didn't expect much given the price. The hems look like a child did them. (probably did) They are uneven and one end is shorter than the other by a good inch on ONE curtains! It's awful. I hung them anyway because I need something on a west facing window to block the sun so it doesn't get so blazing hot in my house. I hate them but until I can find something else they will have to do. I have to drive 25 miles one way to return anything to Amazon so it is not worth it to me to do so. They will be used as covering in cases of freezing in my garden or something. I will make some kind of use out of them but as black out curtains, they won't do. DO NOT BUY THESE if you want black out curtains and since their misleading item description says they are BLACK OUT curtains, I'm guessing you (like me) came here for that. Some sellers have zero integrity in what they sell on Amazon and Amazon lets them write whatever they want in the description even if it's a lie.

These are not thermal curtains! The tag says 100% polyester. I contacted the seller and he says there is a thermal layer woven in, which is false because the tag clearly says 100% polyester. Thermal curtains have a lining that blocks out the sun, hence the meaning of thermal curtains. These are inauthentic.
