Love these curtains. Quick and easy install. Just popped my current rod off replaced the cutains and resintalled. Only had them for 24 hours. The amount of light that's blocked from the sun is amazing. We get a lot of light throughout the day at this window. I installed it at night... the Wife ended up sleeping through to 10:30am the next day not knowing what time it was! Left them closed during the day to test the light and heat, it works amazing! Minimal light seeping (pic doesnt do justice), I think i could sleep mid-day without issues if I wanted. Definitely noticed the room was cooler overall. Hoping this helps during the 100s+ summers! Black is very sleek. The materials in the fabric feel high quality and heavy duty. Helps with the blackpit aspect. The curtains feel heaver than my last set, but they are not heavy enough to bow the curtain rod itself. I'd say the materials feel durable in comparison to other curtains in the house. But only time will tell.

I’ve purchased these curtains in a different size and liked them enough to repurchase. One side of my apartment is south-facing and it gets hot and bright when the sun comes out. That is no longer a problem thanks to these curtains! You can see a little bit of sun when it’s super sunny out, but beyond that these work perfectly. The included photo shows the side by side difference— a good tip is to install them higher up your window and have them hang past it so that it totally blocks the light. I wasn’t able to do that because I have weird windows, but I think a lot of the complaints would be alleviated if they’d just installed them higher and made sure they went past the length of the window. They’re soft and the color is true to the image. Fabric is soft and pretty thick— they seem more expensive than they actually are. Like all curtains that don’t have a black backing, the lighter the color, the more light shows through. If you want budget blackout curtains and are on the fence about these, here’s your sign: get them!

Needed a curtain set to separate a large area of the house as a room divider. These fit the bill perfectly. They’re very soft and thick, almost like a thick bedsheet, and they completely block out the light from either side. The only reason there’s light at the top of the curtains in my photos is that I needed to use a wraparound curtain rod (which juts out from the wall a few inches) to make it so the curtains wouldn’t rub up against the stairway railing. I wasn’t too concerned about the curtains completely blocking out all light - I just didn’t want them to be see-through for privacy purposes. However, if you are buying these to block light, they work very well against indoor lighting. Cant speak to how they’d fare in direct sunlight, but I imagine even in a direct beam of sunlight, very little of it would get through just because of the thickness. My photos show the curtain from both sides, with the lights turned on from the opposite side of the curtain in each photo. Keep in mind that there was much less light than it appears in the photos - my phone took long exposures so that the photos weren’t too dark to see anything. The only downside is that the curtains are slightly wrinkled, which is to be expected when shipping a fabric item like this, but it’s not too distracting and is easily fixed with a steamer. Also giving a shoutout to whoever decided to make dual curtains in these exact dimensions, with a rod pocket / back tabs, in this color, and with the blackout feature. Took me forever to find these here but I’m glad I don’t have to use a grommet curtain. Update: added a photo of the curtains from the lighted side after steaming them to get the wrinkles out.

These are nice, thick curtains that are true to being blackout curtains. There is no light that gets through. They were a little wrinkled coming out of the package, but were easily steamed. I did get navy so they are dark to begin with.

I got the Taupe color, it's fully blackout. Some colors may be more sheer than others, but the taupe one is great. I like the different ways you can put up the curtain- back tab, rod pocket, or clips. Worked really well in my guest room that only had a sheer curtain before (sorry guests :P) It took a lot of steaming and ironing to get the creases out but I managed.
