So I am happy to say that this moldable earpiece is worth every penny. I purchased the one for the translucent radio earpiece. The molding process was easy and just being able to mold it multiple times to get it right is outstanding! I do have one issue though. The earpiece detaches from the plug way to easy. I have to put it back in several times during my shifts unless I am wearing a winter hat to hold it in. I have checked to make sure the plug is installed correctly, and it is. Not sure if the heating process made the hole larger or if the plug is too small. Either way, that is the only bad thing I can say about this product. I am very happy otherwise. ... show more

I have been looking for ages for an ear piece that will stay. This stays like a charm. It has taken some getting used to, because it will fill your whole ear canal. I like the foam attachment. It totally blocks out ambient sound, so you have to be willing to give up outside noises. I WANT that. It stays in my ear like a charm. i have found no other earpiece that works nearly as well staying in (which has been my biggest fight all these years of using radios). I do not like the D type. They won't stay worth a darn. The little basic round ones that come with the attachments, suck. This one you heat up, squish it in, and it fits perfectly. It is cheaper than a custom mould from an audiologist, but works the same way. It has various sizes for the canal area. I would like to have a "single ear" option - meaning, have two for my left ear because that's the only side i ever put my earpiece in. Getting a right and left ear form means I'm paying twice as much for one because I will never use the right side. Company, you may want to consider that. Either offer a lower price for one side, or offer two of a single side for the same price, or create an ambiguous basic form to be formed to either ear. If you did that, then the buyer could make one for each ear, or both for one ear. That's the best solution. I'd recommend that. Thanks. ... show more

I used these temporarily while my custom ear prices were being made. Pretty handy easy to fit a little on the pricey side but all in all a good product to have as back up or temporary or even full time use.

I've used this product for about 6 months, until I left it in my vehicle and the sun did what it does, melted it unrecognizable. The product instructions are easy to understand and the molding process is quick and easy. After getting it set up to your ear, the product is comfortable. I've used it for up to a 12 hour shift, days in a row. Radio transmissions audio quality is superb. Plus, it looks cool and who doesn't like that? As mentioned, I left mine in my vehicle after a tough night shift and had to work one night without it while I waited for a replacement to arrive. Very relieved to have this item in my tool chest. You cant beat this product and it's very inexpensive. Do yourself a favor, get this. You won't regret it. ... show more

I definitely regret buying this they constantly hurt my ears I have remolded them time and time again and they have not been as good as them claimed

I have been in the concert security business for about 30 years now. I needed earplugs that would STAY IN my ears and also allow me to use a radio earpiece and be somewhat comfortable. I was gonna rate these 3 stars at first because they don't block the sound as much as I had hoped. After the concert I worked last night, I decided to go with 4 stars. While not perfect, they'll do for now. You see, I was working in the barricade and we had crowd-surfers coming over and me catching bodies all night. And these earplugs stayed in my ears and I could hear my radio. I wish they blocked more outside noise, but I guess they'll do for now until I can afford some better custom-molded ones. ... show more
