I've been doing gel nails for the last few years but last year (2004) I went to a nail salon and they left the nail polish remover on my nails so long then they used the grinder and it ruined my nails making them paper thin. It freaked me out so I stopped going to the nail salons and just let my nails grow out. Now I rarely go to the salon and just polish my own nails - I also save a ton of money doing this. This base and top coat make my nails as shiny and last as long as gel! Turns out all you need is a high quality strong poshilsh top/finish to protect it from the daily wear and tear. This polish/brand is the best I have ever used. It doesn't chip or peel off - it literally grows off unless easily removed with regular nail polish remover. No more expensive nail salon pedicures wasting my time and money.

This is the best for strong nails...I've used it for years...and once in awhile I've tried others...but always come back to Lippmann's Hard Rock...im asked a lot where I get my nails done.....they think they are "fake" ....but my nails are natural, long and strong...and I give the credit to Hard Rock ... show more

I normally do read the reviews...this time I did not.. There is a reason this is not returnable. It doesn't feel like a hard rock it feels like a rubber covering. had my hands in water and the covering started peeling away from my nails. This stuff is expensive. I expected more! They obviously don't back their own product or it would be returnable ... show more
