These are well-made, the magnets are strong and the controllers move smoothly over the ball.     • A vast improvement to No Man Sky steering with touch controller

I bought this for use with No Man's Sky. That game has you control your ship by grabbing a virtual cockpit joystick, and steering in the air with no tactical feedback or support at the base of the joystick. I found this to cause fatigue on my arm and tiring. This product solved the issue for me brought the experience much closer to the feel of an actual joystick. Feedback for seller: The ball popped out of the base on the first day and I noticed the glue was not fully set and dry. I cleaned and applied some epoxy myself, made sure it fully set, and it works fine. The velcro straps are fine for securing to a chair armrest, but too short to strap on a leg. I would like an option for longer straps (or extra straps and I can chain them together for more length). ... show more

Nicely done, no more weird stick control on VTOL VR as well as DCS if you want to use your hand to flip the switches, the controller comes right off the ball flip switches and goes right back in place while leaving your hmd on your face. Genius...Thanks for being true to the immersion of VR sims.

The description and qa is misleading this is only a single stick adapter. Furthermore this does not enable you to play jedi squadrons as the game does not recognize the joycons as a joystick! With this 3d printed base stand from what i can tell. Everything i ha e read requires an actual joystick with proper drivers to register in the game as a joystick with the quest 2 ... show more

Positives -The 3D print itself is fairly decent, I would even say above average. The adapters hold the Oculus Quest 2 controllers well and there is little give. -Package shipped and arrived overnight Negatives -Holding components like screws and the glue itself is low quality. I had a magnet pop out of the adapter within the first 15 minutes of setup. The screw stripped the plastic and did not sit well after putting it together. -The concept needs to be reworked. The controllers slouch when let go. I understand that for the controllers to to be accessible, they used magnets. But in reality this item serves little purpose but securing the controllers about as well as a wrist strap. The adapters provide little advantage or comfort when making fine tune adjustments. I see no advantage to using these adaptors over simply placing your hand on a surface and using the bottom of the controller as a pivot point. -The securing straps are too long for any chair armrest, while being too short for putting around a thigh. -Pricing each adapter at $20 as of 2023 is a little ridiculous for the quality provided. ... show more

Previously I used a car style ball mount with the phone part on my controller but when I switch to a Quest 2 from a Rift the piece was not sticky enough to reuse. I got the single HOTAS adaptor and it is way nicer. Removeable/reusable unlike a stick on magnet, tether still usuable, smooth movement, and with a quick tug you can switch back to normal use which is great for games like NMS when getting in or out of your ship. You can’t wrap the Velcro thing around an arm chair cuss it’s too long. It’s also not the same thing picture in the photo.
