  • Love it
Dead Poets Society is one of my favorite movies of all time and I’ve been meaning to read this book for years. I’m usually one of those people who says the book was better, but in this case they are both excellent. I will read this just as many times as I watched the movie.

  • good book, but afaict, essentially exactly the same story as the film
Some novelizations add a bit to the story from the film; It has been some time since I last saw the film, but I feel like this book adds very little extra story.

  • Favorite
I absolutely LOVE the book and after watching the movie I can confidently say they match up almost identically. Dead Poets Society was to engaging and easy to get through and definitely a read you could do in under two hours. I purchased a used version and honestly I love used books so much more knowing that I'm just adding to the story of this book as it will go to more people after me. This will forever and always be one of my favorites. ... show more
