I admit that at first I was a bit disappointed in the size of these little hand warmers as well as the fact that they heat on one side only. However, I actually like the size, and they have attachment points on the back so they clip together for dual-sided warmth, forming one large hand warmer! The hand warmers arrived in a little box which included a User Manual, along with a charging cable with one USB A end, and a split cord with two type C connections, making it easy and convenient to charge both hand warmers at the same time. While charging, the light(s) will flash blur until fully charged then all three lights will be solid blue, no longer flashing. The hand warmers have 3 heat settings, Low, Medium, High, and the indicator light will be red. -One red light = Low, -Two red lights = Medium -Three red lights = High The temperature gets quite warm, even hot, on the High setting, but the temperature fluctuates and doesn't hold steady. It cools even if left on High, but warms up again, which is probably a safety feature so it doesn't burn or overheat. The batteries don't last for hours on end, but they also don't take long to charge. I recently purchased the DDW Hand Warmers Rechargeable 2 Pack and I am absolutely delighted with them. They are easy to use and provide an intense warmth, perfect for when I am out and about in cold weather. The rechargeable battery is a great feature. I no longer have to worry about buying new batteries and can use them again and again. The design is slim and lightweight, making them comfortable to carry around in my pocket. I live in the upper midwest and we experience a very cold climate for most of the year. I also work in an extremely cold enviornment so I am always looking for innovative ways to keep warm. I ordered these hoping to give my hands some relief from the cold. I am utterly delighted! These little warmers put out some incredible heat for their size. They measure 3 1/8 inches and they have a very modern, slimline design so they are easy to slip into any normal size pocket or even a hoodie pouch without being bulky. You can even hook them together and double the heat in one area which is a great design for outdoor sporting events in cold weather. The heat is adjustable too. You can have mild heat, medium heat or crank them up to maximum heat which is considerable coming from such a small appliance. I really am amazed by the amount of heat these put out. Low heat ranges from 95 to 107.6, medium heat from 107.6 to 118.4 and high heat is from 118.4 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. The higher heat settings will drain the charge life, but they are so easy to charge just by plugging them in to any USB outlet and they come with a dual corded charging cable so you can charge both warmers at the same time. I just plug them into my laptop to charge and although it stated charging time was 3 to 4 hours mine charged fully in about an hour out of the box. The display system is easy to understand. When you fully charge them a blue light lights up, when they are in use one red light means mild heat, two red lights for medium heat and three red lights is maximum heat. There is a yellow light when the warmers are in charge mode and they will not function while in charging mode. There is a stated warning to keep them away from water, heat sources or flame and do not expose to prolonged sunlight. The heat time will vary depending on the heat setting so the range is from six to twelve hours on a fully charged battery. I want to mention that these are not a toy and if children are using them they should be supervised. When storing the warmers the manufacturer states to charge them once every three months and if there is battery leakage to never let them in contact with your skin and to wash any skin contacted immediately. There are powerful little batteries inside these warmers and with the proper care and storage they will last a very long time. I put them in my pockets at work on medium and they help to keep me warm during my work day and I just charge them when I get home and they are ready for the next day. I keep them in my coat pockets when I'm outside and my hands always have an available heat source that I can feel through my gloves. I am an older adult and these are a Godsend to me because I don't tolerate the cold as well as I did in my youth. I highly recommend these and they would make a great gift for a senior, a hunter, construction worker, flagger or anyone that is outside during the winter months or for someone who enjoys outdoor sporting events. Great product and a very reasonable price.

Wish these came with a charging cube! I'm drowning in USB-C cables these days but the cubes are a hot commodity! Rant aside, these are really well constructed. The plastic feels strong and durable, and the button is firm (even if it's a bit small). Once you find the sweet spot and hold for four seconds, these turn on (If you have larger fingers, plan on using a fingernail to press the button). It's a simple 1, 2, 3 step up in temp with the corresponding lights indicating which setting you're using. Within 15 seconds these are noticeably warm and well on their way to HOT for up to three hours. The size is convenient for a jacket or pants pocket, and the rounded edges make it comfortable to the touch. The only reason I took a star is that the top seems to get hot while the bottom doesn't. This requires you to constantly flip it over to deliver heat to both your fingers and palm. Otherwise, these are fantastic, and I love the way they click together for easy storage. Great product!

I was skeptical when a tv commercial for a similar product came on two days ago. I thought they seemed superfluous, easy to lose, and not too purposeful. Then the next day, they appeared on my Amazon feed, and sucker that I am, I saw it as a sign. I think it was. This morning, the day after I received them (two days after seeing them for the first time), it was an unbelievable 38 degrees IN LOS ANGELES when I left (pre-dawn) for my morning five-mile walk and squirrel feed. This is cold by any standard, and extremely cold in LA; I was reminded of a winter I spent working in Nova Scotia where sub-zero temperatures were the norm and fortunately, we were only outside for a couple of days and were handed little warmth packets to crack and use in our pockets, which lasted an hour; so yes, there are times when hand warmth is a great consideration. Those frozen extremities can do you in and losing mobility in your fingers is just no fun. Because of the early hour, I had been wearing gloves since it got cold here. I wore them this morning, but I was able to keep my gloved hands warmer too, by keeping them in my pockets wrapped around the warmers. These charge with a USB (a nifty double charger is included) and have three heat settings. While the instructions bear some revision (i.e., the sentence “Hot pack with the product can eliminate fatigue, relieve back pain, especially suitable for old man, children and office staff to use,” might benefit from an edit), they are plug and play and lasted for my entire five mile walk and the instructions say they last 6-12 hours without a recharge, so unless you’re in the cold all day, they should be good for a lot of time outside during a day. There are three heat settings – I use the highest this morning, particularly while I was wearing the gloves which were fine for squirrel feeding as well. After I left the park for the final mile and a half home, I took off the gloves and let them do their trick for the duration. They’re worth having if you’re going to be outside in the cold. My quibbles: 1) they are small and easy to lose; it would be nice to have a place to clip them to some kind of lanyard, better yet to provide some kind of lanyard – the current model has no place to do that, so keep those pockets zipped. 2) they travel well – a little bag would be a nice thing to have for packing. They nest nicely for charging and while I still expect to lose them, they will be very worthwhile while they last. I would give them a four-and-a-half rating if I could, but I’ll stick with the five because my warm fingers are doing the typing here and they have a mind of their own.

I didnt expect these to be so small, the photos show a hand holding one and it was larger. This is clearly a photoshop picture but the scale is off. Aside from the fact that both of these easily fit into one hand side by side, they're pretty warm! The oval on the inside of the device is where the heating element actually is. I thought this would mean they'd be focused in that spot but it radiates a little bit. They snap together on the back to make "one" larger handwarmer. This makes putting them in a pocket very easy. They last a good bit and stay fairly consistent heat wise through the battery life. I like the function of them, and they really are built well! If they were a little bigger or the heating element was a bit larger it'd be an easy 5 star rating. But for smaller hands, or on the go, they work great.

These hand warmers get really hot, like sometimes too hot even on the lowest setting, I'm not sure how I could hold it on hot, maybe if it was outside of a glove. I really like that these clip together and it comes with a double charging cable which is convenient, even though the wire is really short. I wish there were some instructions in the box, but between the listing and a little experimentation, it was pretty easy to figure out how it works.
