After HOURS of reviewing other sinks and applying what I felt would be a functional and fun option for an upgrade, we chose this sink (the two tier shelving being a factor) and IT HAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! A Concern I had was the 'dial' for turning on the water to the faucet and waterfall. Our plumber said it is like a shower dial, so "no" he did not think it would wear out. The water pressure and temp is increased as you dial up, no problems there. Oh, and the cup washer was a surprise, amazing pressure which comes on automatically when place and press down a cup or glass on it. I have used it more than I thought I would! If we had not liked the cup washer we could have just replaced it and put back the stainless plug that came with the sink. We use the dish drainer on the lower shelf (had to angle it on) or the top shelf for most of the time. I do occ put the cutting board right on the dish drain when needed. I seasoned the beautiful wood cutting board with mineral oil before using, We store DRAINAGE BASKET on the lower shelf under the dish drainer and/or cutting board. its GREAT for celery stalks, full carrots, lettuce EVERYTHING! Plus it saves taking a colander out of the cupboard, washing it etc. I do use a small round stainless colander for aprox 1 cup of fruit. We also saved money not buying a garbage disposal as the cute lil basket in the sink drain is sufficient. Even our plumber says he does use a disposal for his sink. I noticed some said drainage was a problem. We used a level on our counter and there is just a tiny slope from front to back, maybe that is why our sink drains with no puddles around the drain. Who knew a sink could be so versatile and fun! Highly recommend. Great price also, plumber found it easy to install, used included clips. Truly a "Work Station" that has made our kitchen work more efficient. Hope this helps ... show more

Plumber had no problems putting the sink in, and it looks good. A good upgrade for my kitchen, until we can afford to remodel more with new countertops. This will work for now to help my kitchen look better.
