We had to move our son to a new room to make room for the new baby. And we were worried about him going straight from a crib to a big boy bed (he's 2 1/2). So we thought if we got him a really cool looking bed, he would be more apt to embracing the change. And it worked! He's obsessed! He absolutely loves this new bed, and was great about sleeping through the night the first night he was in it! It's fairly easy to put together, the only thing that's annoying is it comes with a ton of stickers you have to put all over it. Not a huge deal, just time consuming. Quality is ok, I mean it is built out of plastic. But that's actually been helpful because our son is clumsy so it doesn't hurt him if he accidentally bumps it or falls on it. And if you just use a mattress without a boxspring at first, the mattress sits low enough that it has built in bed rails so there's no way he can roll out of it. The only thing that we didn't consider is how it sits on the floor. So to read to him or tuck him, you have to get down on the floor right there with him. I like that it was easy to assemble. I find it to be a bit flimsy. Asked my husband to make an additional frame for the bottom of the car bed frame itself. Once complete I didn’t like the way it looked in my boys bedroom (the ceiling is very high). Placed on a boxed frame (add some decor or design to fit) with a few steps did the trick. ... show more

Got this bed and dont regret it. It was easy to put together but the decals are very time consuming. Looks amazing and my 4 year old son loves it so much he doesnt come into our room anymore in the middle of the night. The bed has no mattress frame, it is made to have the mattress sit on the floor with no boxspring. This is for child safety so they cant roll out of it. I got the bed from another company but wanted to leave my comments here to help people out. Had to cancel this order because the shipping company Amazon uses in my area for large objects is horrible. Amazon was amazing and very helpful with all of this, hate to give my business to someone else when it really wasnt Amazons fault. ... show more

This is a great focal point for my sons Batman room. It was easy to assemble by myself. I am a 47 year old woman not particularly strong just very determined and did it by myself. The stickers were a bit challenging just take your time and your patience will be rewarded with an awesome bedroom. I also purchased the comforter set the artwork over the futon and the batman throw pillow covers and pillow inserts from Amazon. Made an awesome room possible. ... show more

I'd really put this one more in a 2.5 star rating, but I guess since it IS a Batmobile, you have to round up. Big issues that I had with this were: 1. Missing screws 2. Broken parts upon arrival 3. As others have said, the decals are a bit of a pain As for the first two complaints, to be fair, I did NOT reach out to the manufacturer on this, but rather went to Home Depot and bought the screws and used a bonding glue to fix the broken part. We were setting this up for an Easter morning surprise, and so I didn't have time to wait for replacement parts to get there, but I would hope that they would have provided them. In regards to the decals, it's kind of a double-edged sword. Yes, they are a pain, and don't have really great guides or practically ANY marking on the bed to show where they should go, but on the other side, they are what make the bed look incredible. Just don't make the same mistake I did in putting the FRONT Batman logo on the sides and then realize that it is a different size! ... show more

This is a great little bed for my grandson when he comes to visit. I was a little bit worried about the mattress laying directly on the floor since there is no frame or slats. I did find an item that works well with it if you want to spend the extra money. It is the Zinus Deepak Easy Assembly wood slat 1.6 inch Bunkie Board/Bed slat replacement. It was an additional $76. Well worth it to get the mattress off the floor. I think we will get lots of use and fun memories at Grandmas house with this cool bedroom! ... show more
