Was expecting to be bigger then the oem by previous ratings but not too horribly over sized was a bit of a pain to install due to trying to fit snug into a tight space by the transmission but after about 2 hours starts and runs like a beast no issues and great for the price also !!! Don't even have to deal with core charges either with is a plus but I do recommend you have some experience with installation because I did have to drop a transmission plate to get it to fit accurately on my 95 s10 4.3 engine after installing everything back together I really can't complain starts really well!!! No issues and I like to test limits so this also says alot too!!! But do know there is not a warranty or any warranty work but with a price you can't beat who needs one because it saves money!!! Came in earlier then expected which was exciting didn't realize it would be as heavy as it is but way worth it for sure!!! ... show more

I gave a five star rating for excellent quality.I installed the starter in on 9/06/14 and the starter worked perfect.I was going to order the AC Delco but at thirty dollars more I opted for this starter.The shipping only took two days which was amazing.The new starter went in very easy the old starter removal was a hassle to remove on my 94 GMC Sonoma 4x4.I'm a retired auto mechanic and I never had such a problem removing a starter.I'm not sure if this starter was ever replaced it was larger in diameter then the new starter.Well I finished the job and I guess that s all that matters.I highly recommend this product and company. ... show more

    • This went on my 4.3 L V6 and starts really fast now
Bought this and had it put on and it started right away really fast my other starter was dragging it would start but it it probably wasn't going to sometime I was kind of hesitant because it was only like $82 but I'm very pleased with it and everything was brand new about it it was a little hard the guy said you had to be perfectly put in line in order to get the screws in not wallered out like the old ones ... show more

Lack of quality control. 2 small screws hold brush plate to outter case, they fell out after using vehicle for 5 days, causing brush plate to short out on rear closure plate.
