I was very leery of buying this new unit when the cheapest remanufactured ones from the local auto supply shops were selling for more than double the price. But I figured, how much longer will I really be keeping my 2004 Nissan Quest? So I took a chance. Well, it's now nine months after installing it, and it's still going strong. My only complaint is that the product's page at the top says "Notes: New Alternator, 145 AMP~VALEO UNIT" There is no evidence whatsoever that this is manufactured by Valeo. It is a Chinese product, but a good one for sure. If the thing conks out on me, I'll be sure to update this review. ... show more

Purchased this alternator and had a laud bearing noise, pay my mechanic again to remove and request a replacement they sent me a dirty cover with oil alternator. You can tell this part was just removed from another customer.. (0) starts..

    • Almost OEM for half the price.
Fantastic almost OEM quality. It is not made of as much metal as OEM ( LIGHTER AND SLIGHTLY THINNER) but I don't really think that matters I drove 500 miles with no issues in a week.
