Just installed and 14.5 VDC output at idle on a slightly low battery. Haven’t taken the car for a drive yet but will update this review later with how the alternator is doing over time. The company that rebuilds these provided a test sheet showing current output vs RPM and results of numerous function and quality control checks. Well packaged but suggest you order with Amazon packaging too to provide a little extra protection because these are heavy. My first alternator never made it out of Amazon’s hands, shipped from Amazon California but rejected at Amazon Denver due to damage. You have to order your own replacement when that happens, disappointed with Amazon over that!!! The Mits. Outlander is one of those cars where potentially simple tasks are made very difficult. Had to lower the AC compressor and remove its mount, and remove several plastic panels under the car and inside the passenger side wheel well to get the old alternator out and the new one back in. Hope I never have to do it again! Feeling pretty confident based on the build quality of this alternator! ... show more
