I have bought several items from them and never had a problem. Amazon got involved and DB electric got right back to me and the problem was rectified (not saying it had a bad rectifier). I thought they might sit on sending it after my call but I got in two days and it works fine. I would have bumped them to a five based on prior experiences but three business days with no response annoyed me. Would I purchase a product from DB Electric in the future. Yes. You read below the original complaint. Originally purchased this product I believe May 31, 2016. Installed the unit and it worked for one day. Contacted for a replacement three times with no response. I actually repurchased the same product while waiting for a response and it is performing flawlessly. Works great on my 2007 GMC 2500HD lbz duramax Was pretty easy to install, but it was a really tight fit so i filed the mounting brackets down a little bit so it would just fall in place.

First, the alternator arrived in a box that was literally 10x too big w/literally one sheet (about 2' total) of brown "packing" paper. It was like a pinball in the box. The box was damaged very badly. Terrible packing... Upon getting ready to install, I noticed that the connector was 4 prong. I needed 2. I was led to believe after putting my vehicle information in that "this fits your vehicle" would mean it would work. It does not. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it. ... show more

    • Good value for money, fitment issues out of the box.
Looks like a good product. Just a few minor issues. The plug for the connector is clocked further to the passenger side. The ground is also shifted towards the passenger side, negative cable barley makes it. The mounting hole was not exactly round and required slight modification for the bolt to fit. One quick pass with a drill fixed that issue. For under $100 I can't really complain, we will see how long it lasts. ** If you are upgrading to the 145AMP make sure you check your belt fitment. ** ... show more

It fit and worked on my 2006 GMC 3500 Sierra LBZ Duramax only have had it one day will see if it holds up... Install was a bit hard to line up had to pry and hammer to get bolts to line up so only 4 stars ... hindsight ream the mount holes
