This product came with no issues. It even said Bosch on products outside which is what Mercedes used OEM. The plastic part of the casing is slightly different just enough to make it a little bit of a pinch to get it into the engine compartment, but works great. Very satisfied.

So far it's been a great quality product! Fit my Mercedes Ml350 perfectly. I've had it installed for about a month. We'll see how well it stands up. Great value for the price!

    • fit like a glove works like original part only $830 less
Ive never had an aftermarket anything fit so well, at idle it produces 14.3 volts on a car with over 225,000 miles on it. there is nothing i can complain at all about! Update: I have now 253,000 miles on the car and 30,000 miles on this alternator. An oil leak had it black and oil dripping into and off of the alternator. After fixing the leak (and whilst still installed) I sprayed it down with engine degreaser then rinsed with a gentle stream of water. Hit the stubborn parts with brake cleaner and let it dry overnight, guess what? Still works just as strong as the day I installed it. I will be buying another soon, not because I need to, but I would like to paint the case as part of the dressing up of my engine bay. The new case will go on the old alternator so I can clean and paint the old case to put on the new alternator as a back up. Installed in the driveway on a 2008 Mercedes e550 ... show more
