Great product. I have a 2000 Lexus ES300 and this alternator actually fits just perfect. They are made somehow a tad bit smaller so when you install it, it actually fits perfect. Also It comes with a printout of when they bench tested the unit. Awesome!!

This alternator is made for people without voltmeters. I tried everything to make sure I wasn't going crazy, new oem belt, new plug, new ground wire to engine, and I already had new battery. It will not consistently charge at idle. It will consistently charge just under 14 at 1250 rpm, it will charge just over 14 at 1500 rpm. Its not the belt tension, I even installed new alternator tension adjustment bolts. So, as long as you don't sit idle at night with your lights on for too long, if you don't have a voltmeter, you won't notice how much a piece of junk this alternator is until it eventually completely dies., which I imagine will be about a year from now. Oh yeah, I even tried to return it and they set a return date 1 day outside the date when the new alternator was supposed to arrive, so I said, screw it, I'll return it one day late when the new one arrives, it only takes 15 min at most to pull the alternator in my car, then magically the new one never arrived and my return got cancelled. So also, this place is SHADY. Don't waste your time with this company.

Excellent service, the parts selector ensured I had the right part for the correct car before purchase. Then delivery was fast and hassle free after easy payment. The alternator arrived and the test results of the alternators performance at date of manufacture were on a slip of paper in the box, Outsatnding! Then I installed the alternator a moderatly difficult task taking an hour if you don’t rush. The car runs as New with a new found zip in its stride all for a 1/3 of the price it would cost to have a remanufactured alternator professionally installed and the then only last a year like we did last year. This is not remanufactured it is a brand new alternator and it works brilliantly. Well worth it. Will solve your power problem in the car instantly and last a long time very well made. Excellent product, excellent service excellent solution to keep your car running with spare parts forever thanks Amazon.

Purchased this DB Electrical 400-52340 Alternator from Amazon on Nov 26,2021 for my Solara 1999 V6 SLE model. This DB alternator lasted only under two years in the car and now charging output power reduced to 12.32 volt max or under and with the A/C turning on the charging dropped to 11.4 volt and the battery drained completely to death. The DB Alternator manufacturing warranty is 12 months while the most remanufacturing alternators from the other brand's names were two years standard basic. Saving your times and money and to avoid any problems in the future by looking for the quality names such as Denso or Bosch.

This brand new alternator arrived San Francisco , CA., from Kingsport , TN., in 48 hours, in double boxes and well packaged. The inner box is a plain white box without any labeling , neither does the alternator itself ( no manufacturer"s name, model #, or specifications ). However, included in the white box is a " Computer Testing Alternator" testing results sheet , showing test sequence, regulator functions, and scope patterns. The outside appearance is quite good when compared with the original Toyota alternator, about a 90%. Installation posted no problem at all, everything fitted together. Voltage outputs are good - 14.42 v at 1300 rpm, and 13.38 v at 750, well within specifications. The only negative thing I have noticed, is the higher noise level of this alternator. But at only 33% of the cost of an OEM alternator, it is a very good value .

The product was shipped and received in a very timely manner, and the product was new and unused as promised. The removal of the old part and installation of the new alternator was simple and straightforward. This particular model was about $80 cheaper than others on the market, which makes it a great value for someone on a budget. Overall, after one month of daily use, it is holding up and doing its job without fail. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a replacement!
