Original item purchased on January 17 only lasted 9 months. It came with 1yr warranty from mfg. I emailed Mfg, they said that because I bought from Amzn I had to go to them for replacement under warranty. I asked for replacement from Amzn they said to return defective unit via prepaid UPS shipping label which UPS tracking has stated that Amzn has received defective unit. Amzn has not given me refund , Amzn told me to buy another NEW one which I did and recvd as a replacement. Still NO refund for returned defective unit under 1yr warranty. Not happy. Will advise to see what happens. Perfect fit. Looks brand new. Measured V & A output full load and its right on. Came with print out of specs as they tested unit b4 shipping which was really nice. While driving with A/C & all lights on it maintained a solid 14.2 V output. Which was good. Hopefully it will last a while!! ... show more

    • Lasted 1.5 months and I don't drive the car a lot.
Arrived on July 24th 2024, Installed a week later and now getting Break and battery light in my Subaru as of 4 days ago meaning it is no longer charging. Checked connections and ground as well. When car is running only showing 11.54vdc. Looking to return it.

It broke-the charge light came on-1 month after purchase. It was supposed to get me through a few months so I could rebuild the original. This thing is straight up junk. Why is Amazon selling merchandise like this?
