    • 05 frontier fit perfect.
Fit perfectly in 05 frontier v6 engine. Nissan made it hard to replace alternator but finally finished job. Thought it had stopped working after 5 day but it was my fault. A connector came lose I didn't pop it all the way, pushed it in till it finally clicked in place,up and charging again.

Works really good...it's not lifetime warranty..but warranted enough..local auto parts charge you a lifetime warranty so you are actually paying for an extra ...if I get a full year or more ..divide the price by 12 ..its actually pretty good.

I bought this alternator back in July2020, I’ve had electrical symptoms with it ever sense. It started off with electrical pulsations, shaking upon seconds of starting my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. And lights were very dim, along with the electrical pulsations my lights would brighten and dim in idol. The symptoms started when the part was replaced and it’s been to the garage but my mechanic didn’t test the alternator because we thought fixing the battery terminals was what needed to be done. It wasn’t, so I wasn’t able to afford going to mechanic again. I took my car to Advanced Auto originally thinking the issue was the battery, so they tested it and these are the results. The alternator they said is overcharging my battery. And when I explained the cars symptoms the confirmed further that this was faulty, and they looked at me sideways when I said I got the part off amazon. They said that something as serious as an alternator should be bought at a parts store, so I contacted amazon and they were very kind about my situation and from my understanding are giving me a refund for the product. There is a warranty on it for anyone that has the same issue as me. Please keep an eye on how your electrical effects your car and the way it’s acting. It may shake, stall, and shake worse when you’re using your heating system, lighting system or window motors. It’s very dangerous to drive a vehicle with a faulty alternator especially if it’s overcharging, so check to see if your battery is swelling or your car is overheating as well. Everything was good until about a week ago. Then it would intermittently quit charging at random times. Then a few days with no issues. Started again yesterday and this morning it left me stranded. Contacted customer support. If they make things right I will change my rating.
