For all the ones that say it don't work, if you have any motor size than 1.6L, this will not work!! It works but not properly, I've been using this and my 2014 Kia soul with the 2.0 would not go over 12.2v while running, even though Amazon says this will fit my car but it does not ask what motor size I have, so will it fit yes but will it work no, so for those that don't know, put in the part number for what you are looking for and get that part, don't do like me and probably alot of other people and go off Amazon's recommendations, to be fair this seems like it is a decent altanator and probably works right for the right vehicle! To bad I can't return it

Bad alternator and no refund
The alternator did not work it was bad . It worked at first for three days and began failing by the fourth day.

Great Part but AMAZON Sucks
I bought this product through Amazon. When it went out I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that all I had to do was contact Amazon and have them to contact them while I was on the phone and they would exchange this for me. I contacted Amazon and the representative was HORRIBLE! He did not care about my concerns and wouldn’t even attempt to assist me. He told me that Amazon only carries for a warranty for up to 2 months even though when they purchased it in bulk from the manufacturer they agreed to a 1 year warranty. Two months now! 2 MONTHS… for a car part?! INSANE!! The manufacturer did warn me that Amazon was giving people a hassle for no reason but I thought that since I’ve been a faithful customer for so long that would atleast attempt to assist me. I was wrong! I ended up contacting the manufacturer again and they assisted me fully! I am on the verge now of cutting all ties with Amazon. I was highly disappointed

Very Poor quality, Please don't waste your money
Doesn't put out enough power. I live in Chicago so I have a lot of idle time on the express way. If you're not hitting some high RPM's it'll straight up die. I had no lights, no accessories just the radio on low. It'd constantly drop power, turn off the radio and jerk the car forward. Once you hit high RPM's however it's completely fine, so It's passing the voltage checks. It's not that much less compared to similar higher quality brands, so please, do yourself a favor and just go with one of those. You'll save money...

works...but throwing codes
well it fixed the problem, got rid of all the codes, car runs fine..BUT, now my ac blower fan flucuates on high and i notice the rpm's doing it ever so slightly. tested with several devices and the charging system checks out. going to try teplacing the battery before i try to replace this thing. 2013 elantra coupe P.I.T.A-S-S to replace ! UPDATE : everything checks out on live scan. WEEK 2 UPDATE: code P0625 means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a lower than expected voltage signal from the generator field coil circuit. The F simply reiterates the field coil control circuit is at fault. The field coil is probably most recognizable from its windings which are visible through the vent holes on most alternators. UPDATE : replacing the battery and fusable links on the 4th. will update then.
