Installed this unit about 1 1/2 years ago. It has performed as it should. Was a little tight going in, had to use a piece of wood to set it in there. Satisfied customer here. 4 Stars due to small connector was broken in half laying in 2 pieces in the bottom of the box with the 2 pins exposed on the back (poor packing). I needed to use the vehicle so I used a little silicon to hold the plug onto the pins. It has been all good for a year and a half. Cannot beat the price compared to original. ... show more

Got it in great time, properly packaged. Installeed but it is not charging as it should. Only 12.5 volts henit should be 13.5 +. Great valuse but it needs to work.

I put this in a 2003 Mercedes SL500. It is perfect! I originally wrote a bad review because I was getting 12v from the alternator but it was a short in the headlight that was drawing down the voltage. I put in a LifePO4 auxiliary battery and between the BCM in the mercedes and the BCM in the battery and the voltage regulator on this alternator, my car is a powerhouse! Don’t order if you have any sl they have too much electrical amenities this is designed to handle lower voltage vehicles it fails under load frequently and won’t last even one week it’s easy to put in but you get what you pay for its cheap so cheap quality
