    • Best Value Around - Loop back in gutter to avoid showing excess lights!

We did our due diligence beforehand, and this seems to be the best value when it comes to quality Christmas lights. 1. This is a long set of lights, so to avoid showing the excess lights and labeling yourself as a "Navidad Novice", just end the lights at a place where you can run the excess through the gutter. I actually had about 10 extra feet, shown in the picture above, and was able to run them through the gutter and my neighbor thought they were custom to the house! 2. These lights are no harder or easier to put up than any other light. You'll need to buy some holiday light clips in order to hang these on the gutters. While you're at it, make sure you buy a light timer so they only come on at night! 3. I feel like the brightness is about average for Christmas lights. When testing during the day, they may appear like they are a little dimmer, because of the way the case reflects the light, but I found at nighttime they get the job done! ... show more

I absolutely LOVE these string lights! I purchased 3 sets and might want to purchase more! I used them on our front porch outside. They worked perfectly and lit up the space beautifully. These string lights are super bright, made of plastic (so no worries about breaking them) and very easy to install for decorating.     • Disappointment in how long they lasted.
I have wanted to find C9 style LED's that would last longer than one season because I got tired of tracking down rusted pin LED''s to replace on a line every year. I felt last year I struck it huge by finding strings that the LED's are soldered in instead of pushed in so ordering some more this year was not a problem....until this year. I ordered two 100 light strings and two 50 light strings and they looked great around my roof line, for about 2 weeks (I turned them on on Thanksgiving, and then I came home after an evening out and saw the 50's failing). That's when the 50 light strings started dimming on half the string or going out entirely, very much like what I saw with the plug in LED styles except I have no way of repairing these. The 100 light strings? Working as expected. I ordered the 50's for more flexibility and ended up ordering another 100 and swapping the two 50's out. If it had been just one of the light strings I wouldn't be so irritated, but both says a lot about the nature of those strings. Would I buy these 50's again? Only after some convincing that I should. ... show more
