These are way too small for a large breed. I thought this was going to be similar to the ones I normally got at Costco in the before times. I should have paid attention to the length in the description. My dog actually looks disappointed with them.

We have a 1 year old lab. I am very picky about what i give him. Labs need SOMETHING to chew...especially as puppies. I have a few dental chews that are awesome, but needed something like a rawhide that keeps him occupied for a while. I wanted chews that were usa made from usa beefhide. These fit the bill! AND we visited relatives for a few days several weeks back. They had rawhides from Bark Box and our lab "shared" them with their dogs. He was vomiting after chewing on the bark box chews. NEVER Had a problem with pet factory chews.

My vet told me that rawhides are great for dogs ages ago. But he said to avoid products from China as they could be dangerous. He said rawhide from the US and also from Mexico and South America (like Brazil) were safe. So I spent forever hunting down a company that I could trust. I have been getting Pet Factory rawhides for, gosh, over 10 years, maybe even 15! Pet Factory, I think, either uses Mexico rawhide and then manufactures in the US, or they have other products that are US rawhide. Both are fine, according to my vet. I have never had any issues with product quality or safety. Every dog I've had has loved them. No one has ever had any problems with them. My one dog, our beloved chocolate lab mix, did have a thing where he'd basically inhale everything. He would then choke a bit and start over. In the beginning, I'd freak out and try to "save" him, but he was fine on his own. But of course, we never give rawhides to our babies without supervision. He was a special case, in that he would do that with just about every kind of treat or meal. He lived a very long life (several years longer than his breed normally lives) and was never in any danger with these rawhides.

I don't like to feed rawhide every day (the dogs disagree:) but I feel better giving them these rawhides. Not big and bulky but large enough for a satisfying "flossing" of our dogs' teeth.

I bought these because I wanted something that I would be able to give to both my senior dog and my 6 month old puppy that they’d both enjoy. These have been perfect for both my dogs. They aren’t very thick, so my dogs are able to get through these in a day or so, but when they’re chewing them, they’re kept occupied and entertained for hours. These have been vital for me during the past few months of quarantine, and I highly recommend them for any pet parent!
