This drone is really amazing, especially considering the technology (super advanced) and price (super low). Great: Ease of setup / use. Once out of the box, getting the drone up and flying is a breeze. My children are able to navigate the device and control it with little effort or training. Better than I'm able - for sure. Battery. This thing goes forever on a single charge. My arms get tired holding the controls before the batteries run out (32 mins, wow - we haven't made it to full length of time yet). Camera. 1080p onboard. Enough said. High quality video! Portable: Lightweight, easy to pack and move. We've taken to the park, to the beach and all over. Just like any favorite, this travels with us -- for fun (toy) and exploration. Remote is super intuitive and easy to use Less than great?: Not much. I can't speak to long-term durability, as we've only had the drone for about a month. It's built well (has crashed with little damage), but is built with modern, lightweight material which may limit its lifespan. Different modes are a little difficult/complex for my kids to navigate - but super manageable for adults. Depends on your user/audience. Summary At this price, with these features... if you want a drone, this is the one. Absolutely no reason not to buy. Adults, kids, in-between... it suits everyone. This is the first drone I bought. I wanted to be frugal as I didn't want to invest too much in this in case I didn't like it or wasn't able to get the hang of it. The drone arrived in one day, required no assembling other than unfolding the propellers. Single moms and grandmas with young boys will be happy about this! Upon opening the package you are met with an attractive cardboard box and inside is a carrying case which appears to be a foam-lined, soft outer shell. It serves to protect any components within from accidental drops. The inside is cut out and holds all the parts perfectly and accessories with some room for additional parts. I was very appreciative of this as it kept everything I needed all together. Some of the accessories are an instruction manual, extra props, a tiny screwdriver, all the batteries that you will need, and a frame guard. I feel this drone is an excellent choice and can't go wrong with it. There are other drones out there with similar features but cost way more. This is a great drone for the money. The drone looks and feels like a high-quality product. After spending time flying it, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others. From what I've experienced, it is a winner and that is why I gave it 5 stars. Getting started with this drone is a piece of cake. Insert the batteries in the controller, charge the battery on the drone and you are set. It takes about 2 hours to charge the battery, so be sure to read the manual while charging. The drone is very responsive which makes it fun to fly. The controller is comfortable to use. It has plenty of features, but what I really liked were the buttons for one-key takeoff and landing, emergency stop, and the speed switch. Also, the buttons for taking a photo and starting/stopping video. This made it very easy to do without taking my hands off the control unit. This is a huge positive. My first flying attempt was in my living room. This was not a very bright thing to do, as the drone collided with the walls and lamp. Fortunately, nothing broke. From that point on, I flew it in my backyard. Then one day, it went into a neighbor's yard and eventually dropped to the ground due to the battery running out of power. His yard was fenced-in and I had to walk around the block to knock on his door and get his help. In the 10 minutes it took me to walk there and explain what happened, his Rottweiler chewed the drone to smithereens. I bought another drone, exactly the same one. Proof enough this is a great drone! Thereafter, no more indoor flying and no more backyard flying. I take it to a local school where there is an open soccer field. ... show more

    • Excellent high engineering quality drone for affordable price

My husband and I recently purchased this 1080P FPV drone from Amazon for our nephew's birthday. What we were hoping for was a sturdy quality designed drone, long battery life, compact drone, case and and effective controller. This specific drone has met all of our expectations for an affordable price. What really stood out to us was the drone's long battery life and the overall sturdy quality of this affordable drone. My nephew lives in the country and wanted a drone he could fly over to check on his chickens without having to physically walk over to see his chickens. The drone has a quiet motor and allows my nephew to see his chickens in just a short period of time without having to bundle all the way up and walk to the coop! The camera gives you a clear shot whether it's an aerial view or a more zoomed in/sharper image view. We loved seeing the photos from our day of using the drone together with our nephew. It was the fun of using the drone and now we have the photos to remember. With the higher engineering in the physical design of this drone, it can handle some user rough flying. I wouldn't recommend using the drone on a windy day and near longer hair! Women put your hair in a ponytail! My nephew is 12 and he loves that this drone is portable enough to take with him to his friends' homes and has a really nice case in order to protect it. The battery life exceeded our expectations, the single battery charge gave us just slightly over 23 minutes of flying time on a beautiful day. In the case, you will be provided with some extra batteries making your flying time seem longer. It was a nice touch providing the extra 2 batteries and gave us just shy of an hour of drone flying time. My nephew loved this drone and it is his go-to drone! He said the controller is easy to use and has 3 speed settings, gravity control and more importantly an emergency stop. Overall, it has been such a step up from his older drone we have been reccomending this specific 1080P FPV drone to our friends so they can also experience flying a high quality, yet affordable drone in no time. ... show more
